In March, the Princess of Wales made a private visit to the Lake District to meet with Scouts working towards their Naturalist Badge. She met with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and a group of Scouts aged between 10 and 15, who had recently earned their Scout badges, from the Cumbria and Manchester region, on the shores of Lake Windermere.
Kensington Palace released a new video showing the Princess walking along the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District with a group of Scouts. The Princess has served as Joint President of the Scouts since 2020, a role she shares with the Duke of Kent. During her visit, she wore a bomber jacket by Bella Hoskyns and a knit sweater by Emilia Wickstead.

Dans ce joli look dÊcontractÊ, j'aime particulièrement le pull en maille torsadÊe ; elle porte très bien la casquette !
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is OK, the smile is amzing but I found the video melancholic and sad.
ReplyDeleteWhich video please, Aziliz? Young people sound scouting, with their future queen, in the Lake District should be very joyful and I’m sorry you found it less than! I think she looks cute and natural and those kids must have been delighted to have her visit them! - Mary
DeleteWhich video do you mean? I saw one on the Royal Family Channel on YT and did not find it melancholic. She had a meaningful conversation with the Scout leader where she spoke about how much she loves nature and what it means to her spiritually and emotionally. She said she finds peace and reconnection in nature. Something I can very much relate to.

I would have never expected someone to define the suggestive setting of the Lake District as
"melancholic and sad".
Fancy that!
I don't even know what video you are exactly talking about.
You are likely to project your sad mood over everything.

DeleteThe video I saw was inspiring to the young scouts, encouraging them to go and explore nature. Nothing melancholic and sad about it at all. Perhaps you saw a different video then?
DeleteShe looks great! Outdoor outfits have always been one of her strongest choices
ReplyDeleteLuna
Melanconic and sad and odd....sorry
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see Kate smiling again
ReplyDeleteLooks stunning as usually
Wonderful to see her - she looks very good!
ReplyDeleteHer cap looks very ordinary, nothing to write home about.

I think the cap is cute and goes very well with the casual outfit. I can't imagine a fancy hat with a veil or feathers for this event.
DeleteI think it’s cute - and I rather think she’d take your words as a compliment Virginia, as I imagine she dressed to fit in with and not overwhelm the kids !
DeleteShe looks okay, but the skin tight pants are a no. Yes she is thin and can wear them, but to me it is just wearing leggings. There are lots of casual pants that would look better for this outdoor event.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. I like her top and cap though.
DeleteOh dear. We're back to the overly, excessively, too tight jeans/jeggings. Sorry, I just don't like that look on her (or pretty much any one).
ReplyDeleteWell that is what is seen good or bad. Odd choice since the brits are so firm on wear stockings with dresses, length of dress, colour of nail varnish .
DeleteNice jacket and cap, but Catherine almost regularly chooses trousers that don't fit her body type very well. It's odd, because there are so many styles of trousers that look good especially on petite and slim women. -Siri
ReplyDeletePetite means short. Kate is not short.
Deletei agree
DeleteIn casual today. Great smile.

I think she looks great, snug pants and all! Her cap is cute and glad to see her out and about.
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks right in her element, out with nature and appears to enjoy this outing with the children, Scouts, fantastic. Catherine is a real outdoor girl. Lovely to see her in her casual gear, she wears it well. The cable jumper looks great. More importantly she looks well, healthy and happy. Well done Ma'am, well done.
ReplyDeleteEntirely agreed , Avađ
