my mistake, its a ceremony.

At least they are there together with the people of their country which cannot be said from every royal couple. The way Queen Mathilde is dressed is not important on the national mourning day. MJ
DeleteGreat look for the Queen. Love the hat and swirls in the back.
ReplyDeleteI agree. In Belgian press, there's a full view picture from the side when she's listening to children: just gorgeous, the dress.
DeleteAnd most importantly: they spent a lot of time listening to people, supporting people, talking to children. Mathilde was very considerate and compassionate (as always).

Wat een mooie creatie, echter jammer genoeg niet flatterend voor Mathilde. .
ReplyDeleteMaar goed, haar troostende aanwezigheid is in deze veel belangrijker!
J'ai toujours aimé le pied-de-poule ; il donne là , un beau look à Mathilde même si je n'aime pas son genre de coiffe/turban ? Délicates ses petites boucles d'oreilles avec perles tout à fait pour moi !
ReplyDeleteFor me, this dress does not flatter nor fit Mathilde well. But I like her head band/hat.

I like the classic black-and-white look and the simplicity of the cut. Mathilde looks very polished. However, I don´t think that the dress is flattering for her. The proportions look wrong on her, the waist is too high, the bodice too tight.
ReplyDeleteAnd in any case, I think the dress had been nicer with a lower neckline and some cap sleeves.
Totally agree.
DeleteWhat a beautiful look for Mathilde. That dress is beautiful, and tailored perfectly. I like the headband hat, not overwhelming. I have absolutely loved her style lately.

Mathilde at her very best: love the hairdo and the ring in stead of a to formal hat, love the dress: summery and still very adequate for the occasion,

Well said. Totally agree.
DeleteVery beautiful and simple for this attendance for their country
ReplyDeleteAgree.

Nice dress, I wonder whether no belt wouldn't be better for her.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Try it without the belt. ~d
