On August 27, 2021, Swedish Crown Princess Victoria attended the Raoul Wallenberg Academy Prize ceremony at Wallman's salons in Stockholm. In addition to the annual Raoul Wallenberg Prize and the Young Courage Youth Prize, the organization also awarded an Honorary Prize in connection with its 20th anniversary.
The Raoul Wallenberg Prize is awarded by the Raoul Wallenberg Academy to someone who works in the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg, mainly through raising awareness regarding xenophobia, intolerance and equal rights. The Raoul Wallenberg Academy was founded in 2001 by Nina Lagergren, Raoul Wallenberg’s sister.
Rodebjer Dizzy Dress

Ralph Lauren Calfskin Armissa Pumps
The dress looks like a 70s nightmare on the model but Victoria managed to make it look both current plus fairly attractive. The belt was a necessary addition for the eye to rest on (or else it´s indeed a "dizzy" dress). Shoes and purse match perfectly. Her earrings are quite something.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the accesories make all the difference. She looks so dedicated to her role. Genuine smile.
DeleteVery beautiful on the CPrincess! I like everything but the length - without boots it seems an awkward length, as though it should be slightly longer? or more flowing and not so A-line. Maybe the belt changed the drape.
ReplyDeleteOriginal pattern for this lovely dress that suits better the princess than the model.

I really like this dress and overall look on CPV (except I would have preferred her usual low chignon). Victoria likes bold prints and for some reason this works on her, although I can't envision it on any of the other royal ladies. Perfect end-of-summer/beginning-of-fall colors/print. S.M.
ReplyDeleteVery charming!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is too long for her short legs and she lacks charisma to pull this look off. I can't understand why she continues to wear Rodebjer. That brand is not for everyone and CP Victoria should know that looks like a joke figur when she wears their dresses.

Definitely better on the Princess than on the model. I think it would be better if a little shorter and without the puffed sleeves but even as it is it works. A nice late summer dress.
ReplyDeleteVery charming!

Although the dress looks good on the Princess, I can't see these flowery patterns any more.
ReplyDeleteLovely as usual. The dress though loud with pattern, is broken with belt and makes her look sunny and beautiful. Kat
