On Monday, April 21, 2025 (Easter Monday), Princess Isabella of Denmark will turn 18. The birthday is being celebrated with events held in Aarhus and Copenhagen. On Friday, April 11, 2025, the City of Aarhus hosted a birthday event at Aarhus City Hall as a tribute to the city’s many young talents in creative fields such as music, sports, cuisine, and design.
King Frederik, Queen Mary, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine attended Princess Isabella’s 18th birthday event at Aarhus City Hall. Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg were also present. Among the invited guests were approximately 100 young people from local youth organizations and educational institutions. Princess Isabella wore a light blue suit by Soeren Le Schmidt.
Emilia Wickstead Ariceli Skirt
Isabella is the jewel in the crown of Denmark!
ReplyDelete100% Agreed.

She is beautiful indeed. i wish the girls would wear more dresses and skirts like mom.
DeleteThey are lucky to have several jewels!
DeleteLes deux soeurs sont élégantes, chacune dans son style ; bien beau le prince Vincent qui va bientôt dépasser ses parents !
ReplyDeleteVincent looks like young Prince Henrik
DeleteI also see the grandfather in Isabella profile
DeleteSuch a handsome family. I like the way Isabella wore her hair, rather than straight back. Beautiful hair comb. Q Mary is wearing a skirt I very much like. Everyone looking beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI want that skirt! MR
DeleteAgree that they are a very handsome family. Princess Isabella has really blossomed recently and just glows in these photos. Princess Josephine is at the experimenting stage and looks to have overdone the make up but she’s also a lovely girl. Prince Vincent is just gorgeous.
DeleteThey are such a beautiful family. Isabella like her sister is beautiful. Love the pale blue pant suit, very youthful and light. Mary and Fredrick must be very proud parents, and rightly so.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
How beautiful and poised Isabella is on this big day! I love her suit--a fabulous color for her--and her hair style is so lovely with the bejeweled hair clips. Everyone else looks marvelous--Queen Mary is wearing her beautiful Emilia Wickstead skirt that seems to be a real favorite right now, Josephine looks so pretty and grown and she loves the girly things like makeup and manicures, Vincent is so handsome and has really shot up--he's almost as tall as King Frederik--and it looks like he just might need an alteration to the cuffs of his jacket as they appear a bit shorter than they should be. How nice to see the Rosenborgs join in the celebrations.

What a lovely young lady. Happy 18th birthday to Pss charming. Nice suit too.

Everyone looks lovely, color matching in a very subtle way.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Isabella, for many happy returns of this day!
Luna
She looks so much like Fred. Very pretty young lady.
ReplyDeleteI was most impressed with the speech Isabella gave to the crowd of invited young people and adult dignitaries in Aarhus - wow...so confident, so poised and so personable. The content of her speech was also inspiring and touching. Not only is she a beauty, but a charming and self assured young lady at such a young age. One cannot help but feel very proud of her.
ReplyDeleteAs for her outfit, and her lovely family - 100% all the way!
Happy Birthday to P. Isabella on April 21st.

Happy birthday to the lovely princess. What a beautiful family!!
ReplyDeleteHi Janet.Yes I agree, Vincent has shot up and will probably end
ReplyDeleteup taller than his father, just like Christain.Cate.
Princess Isabella looks fabulous in this pantsuit, the color is sublime and the outfit, looks good, fits well. Love her hair accessory, stunning.
ReplyDeletePrince Vincent looks wonderful in his suit. He is literally shoulder to shoulder with his father. He is so handsome! Princess Josephine is beautiful, stunning young lady and Princess.
Happy 18th birthday Princess Isabella best wishes for your future. Mary
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Isabella. That blue is beautiful on you.
ReplyDeleteJosephine is too young to have nailpolish!!!
ReplyDeleteYes and such long nails
DeleteI knew someone is going to say this😆
DeleteDo you know any teenagers?
It’ s very common to have nails done.
And your views are too outdated!!!
DeleteWhere do you live?
13:42/09:37 Has nothing to do with being a teenager myself or the placebwhere one lives. It’s not because a lot of teenagers do so it’s not vulgar. The girls from better families (and it don’t mean rich people) don’t have such vulgar nails. Probably where you come from they do or you’re vulgar yourself.
DeleteI will be 57 this year and I have been painting my nails since I was three years old. I would help myself to my mother's nail polish.
DeleteAs long as their schools permit the wearing of nail polish, young ones should be allowed to experiment and form their own identities.
Theses youngsters have to live in the spotlight and they appear to be growing up beautifully.
Subtle makeup and nail colours, beautifully dressed at formal events, well groomed and well behaved young people as in they never look sulky or bad tempered.
A beautiful young family.
I agree with Anonymous 16:14
DeleteWhere I live the girls cannot go to school (the better schools) like that.
Shorter nails and a transparent or light colored nail polish is much more beautiful for young girls as well as for old women. When you are old you must not draw the attention to your hands, one can guess the age of a woman by looking at her hands (and it are not only the hands of women who did hard labour when they were young).
I agree with you! She is only 14 and so much make up on her .
Beautiful blue color but I’m not in to all this suits. Too masculine and it doesn’t really suit her bodytype.
ReplyDeleteI did not want to be negative about her suit, but it is a tad too long which falls in the widest part of her hips. This style suit is in vogue. The other problem I feel , because it happened to me, is that mom usually helps in the choice and tends to choose something that they can wear, when their daughter is not shaped the same. It is a perfect colour for Isabelle.
DeleteI want to anticipate a very happy birthday to beautiful Princess Isabella (inside and out)!
ReplyDeleteWhat an impressive young lady she is!
She delivered a simple and touching speech, straight to the point , essential but powerful.
Aarhus is a wonderful scenario to start with celebration events.
She looks marvellous in her sky blue pantsuit picking up her amazing eye colour.
Her bejeweled hair clips look fabulous.
Anyway, I think that her real beauty shines from within and It is all in that strength and dreaming dimension she is moving into just now, when her 18 th birthday is approaching.
This is the power of youth, being able to build up dreams and possibily make them come true.
Her parents couldn't be more proud of her and they have every right to feel so
What an amazing family they make together!
Queen Mary is elegance and class personified.
Princess Josephine is exploring her own way to be feminine and glamorous and that's great (I like her makeup and nail polish!)
Prince Vincent is already so tall and handsome.
How time flies...
It’s amazing how al the kings and queens and their children have disco enormous talents and are so outstanding 😀… pfff
DeleteDisco what?
DeleteDisco...dance?
Pff, pof?
But seriously!
There are lots of talented, outstanding and beautiful children born from humble parents as well.
It all depends on what their parents have been teaching them since their tender years and how receptive these children have been when living with their own families.
08.06. I agree and to much make-up!
ReplyDeleteYes only 14, dont grow up so fast. Plenty of time to use makeup and look older
Paloma.
ReplyDeleteDarling family. I think Isabella is the most French looking of the siblings. I wonder what her French aunts look like. I bet there is a resemblance. Josephine I think is starting to look so much like Mama, and Vincent is gorgeous. I wonder how tall he'll be.
ReplyDelete... Isabella is the most french looking??
Delete@ Coralie
DeleteI think anonymous 20:26 meant that she looks like her grandfather on fathers side. Henri de Monpezat was a frenchman.
Of course Princess Josephine is theoretically too young to be wearing makeup and nail polish, however, I don‘t think there were any vulgar aspects. I am sure her mother did not give her any encouragement, on the other hand, how could she have prevented her daughter from using makeup? Hardly possible nowadays.

First off, what a handsome, beautiful family. It's almost unreal. And Princess Isabella is amazing. What a beautiful, well-spoken, well-behaved young lady. Gosh this one surely can give a speech! The event was lovely, appropriatel and like Crown Christian did, I like that so many young people were included and will be throughout the whole festivities. Well done Danemark, and Isabella is truly an asset to her country.
ReplyDeleteMARIE
I guess Pss Josephine wore stick- on gel nails, which last for slightly more than a couple of weeks and can be removed any time.
ReplyDeleteThey are widely used by women any age.
Everyone has a right to choose the colour that best pleases them.
Why they are labelled as " vulgar" , which is not even the English word I would use in this context, is again truly beyond me.
Josephine is 14 years old but looks more grown- up than her real age.
I can't just make out why this beautiful girl should have been denied something she likes just on a day when her mother and sister Isabella had makeup on and very likely had nails done themselves.
Josephine was allowed to be herself and that's simply great.
Kudos to her family!
There's nothing " vulgar" to go out there dressed and styled to the teens on such a special occasion.
Conversely, I think that "vulgarity"is in the eye of the beholder.
Prejudiced eyes will always see negativity or evil (!) in the tiniest and most normal things.
Let this gorgeous girl alone and let her enjoy her youth as she likes, please.
Enough said, though I know it is a total wastage of time.
