Just FYI for anyone else wondering about the cane like me; I noticed in the pics that the queen is using a cane. Apparently she had bunion surgery on or around April 4th.

It always seems a little rude and disrespectful to comment on fashion for a funeral/memorial service in my opinion (also, 99% of everyone is wearing black so not much to compare and contrast). But, I have to say everyone one looks really nice and appropriate - no too short hemlines, odd hats, or inappropriate pops of color, etc.

I also didn't understand the family connection but I see from the last pic that he was one of Madeleine's Godparents.

He was also the King’s first cousin. The King’s mother and HRH P Andreas’ father were siblings.

I fully agree about comments regarding funerals and memorials. They are not times to critique the fashion of those in attendance. The important thing is that they are attending and paying their respects to the deceased and their family.

The photo of Madeleine's baptism is beautiful. I'm happy it was shared.

    3. Agree about the lovely idea with the old photo. Little Victoria with flowers in her hair - so cute!

    4. Thanks for the information. It's good to know the Queen hasn't had any serious problems with her leg.

  3. I agree about fashion and funerals.

But please allow me to comment on the picture of Madeleine's baptism, in general we comment about princess Benedict and her impeccable sartorial choices, well I'm not sure she will get that many compliments about her Ă  la Chales Chaplin hat and her dress...

Knowing her, Im sure that back in the day she looked terrific! We just don't not see that today 😜
