On April 2, 2025, King Carl Gustaf, Crown Princess Victoria, and Prince Daniel of Sweden hosted a diplomatic reception for foreign envoys at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Several times a year, newly appointed foreign envoys and their spouses have the opportunity to meet members of the Royal Family at a reception held at the Royal Palace.

The reception on April 2 was attended by ambassadors from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Mongolia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Swiss Confederation, and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Newly appointed envoys first meet the King when they present their credentials during formal audiences.

    Malina is Victoria's favourite brand!

Do you have a link when she states that?

@06 02 She probably didn't state that, but it comes up very often. Evidence is better than words. But she has several favorites.

Oh dear... this would be something Estelle could wear and look enchanting for some years to come. Hopefully she would know better when to stop wearing romantic flowery overload.

The dress is fine in colour and print, it is the short puff sleeves and ruffled collar make it look to juvenile. She looks nice in it, but I find the sleeves distracting

  4. Si je me souviens bien, cette robe à imprimé floral a déjà été portée par Victoria ; une veste blanche plus courte donnerait meilleure allure à son look !

It’s not my favourite - the high neckline, the small print, and the horizontal trim on both the bodice and skirt all contribute to a busy, fussy look. (V.M.)

  6. This dress has potential but spoiled by two things in my view, the horizontal bands and the high neckline. It’s not her best but it’s okay

I don't like one thing about this dress. The cut, floral pattern, and length are not good. Throw in the severe bun and we have a completely unflattering look from head to toe.

Personally, and I know this is a very unpopular opinion, but I love the way Victoria dresses for her meetings. Her dresses are lovely, not over the top, and very respectful of the organizations she represents and visits.

I don’t think the dress flatters Victoria nor the model. But in the photo of her next to the model, Victoria looks very good because the white jacket calms down the intense print/design. I can imagine this dress working well cut in 2 - as a blouse eg with black trousers and as a skirt with a white top. - Mary
