On the evening of Monday, April 14, 2025, Dutch Queen Máxima visited the ‘Quantum for Everyone’ event during World Quantum Day in Enschede. The event commemorates one hundred years of quantum physics and aims to introduce the general public to the emerging opportunities and challenges of quantum science and technology.
The event is a collaboration between the University of Twente and the Quantum Delta NL project, part of the Dutch National Growth Fund. During the event, Dutch Queen Máxima took part in two experiments alongside a group of students. Since 2022, April 14 has been officially recognized as World Quantum Day. The blouse and skirt worn by Queen Máxima are from the fashion house Natan.

ردحذفThe wrinkled skirt look probably comes from the more than 2 hours drive from The Hague to Enschede. I don't think she can teleport herself there, although that would have made quite an entrance to this quantum mechanics event :-) She had a busy day, with other commitments of which is posted on this blog. I think this is a great outfit for her, she radiates so much gladness to be there!

I personally do not think that this skirt is creased but designed to create an intentional ruching/ ruched effect.
حذفI can see that from the way the folds are sewn on both sides of It.
This skirt should only be worn when standing still ... covered in one of Natan's glorious fabrics. But skirt and Natan aside - I am full of admiration for Máxima, who makes each and every visit as if it were the greatest pleasure she could imagine for her day to be there. And she has been doing this in all these years and makes it look absolutely authentic. Magic from a magical person.

حذفThere's too much shine for my taste. Although the color of the skirt is nice, the material is too wrinkled, I would advise her not to wear it, she has enough other nice skirts. But I appreciate the hair in a bun.

I think she looks very good in this shade of gold. Love that she’s wearing a long necklace (looks new) - a style we don’t see often. The earrings and her accessories are also good with her outfit.
ردحذفMaxima seems to favor gold and mustard colors which are not my personal favorites but overall I think she looks quite nice. Her hair looks lovely in the updo too.
ردحذفI think maxima looks great. I'm glad she adjusted the sleeves to the way she is wearing them, though if anyone could wear them in the original style as on the model, it would be her. I like her hair up like this too, and the long necklace is perfect for the outfit. The green/gold colours of the ensemble look better in the last photo beside the model photo.

Cette blouse dorée est très belle, ainsi que les boucles d'oreilles. J'aime particulièrement le collier, il est très élégant. La même forme de jupe mais de couleur noire, ou gris foncé, aurait encore mieux mis en valeur le mordoré de la blouse. Paloma.
