On April 9, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited the Cancer Counseling Center (Kræftrådgivningen) in Herlev. The Queen is the patron of the Danish Cancer Society. This was the Queen's first visit to the Danish Cancer Society in her role as patron, after taking over the position from Queen Margrethe following the change of throne last year.
Upon her arrival, the Queen was received by Helen Bernt-Andersen, Chair of the Danish Cancer Society, and Jesper Fisker, the Society's Chief Executive Officer. Charlotte Valgaard Jørgensen, Head of the Cancer Counseling Center in Herlev, provided an overview of the center’s mission and the support it offers to families, children, and young people.
Her Majesty had the opportunity to meet two families affected by cancer and listen to their stories and experiences with the services and activities provided by the Danish Cancer Society. As the largest patient organization in the country, the Danish Cancer Society operates as a privately funded association supported by donations.
Lovely colour and interesting suit design. I wonder why the designer went for such long legs instead of hemming slightly shorter. Is that trending at the moment??
ReplyDeleteYes 10:58 trendy, but I see some excess about it here.
DeleteThe royal superstar in Europe!
ReplyDeleteHuh?
DeleteMy vote goes to Máxima!
DeleteSuperbe silhouette dans cet ensemble dont la couleur bleu-roi lui va à ravir ; j'aime beaucoup le style de sa veste au boutonnage en biais !
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite pant suits in QM closet. The color is gorgeous and the unusual finish on the jacket hemline elevates it. Though I wonder if QM has lost some weight,it looks a little looser on her than on previous wears.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
That color is gorgeous on Mary!
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteShe is a beautiful and smart lady!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pantsuit, but I prefer the classic placement of the buttons on the jacket.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It’s a lovely trouser suit and the colour is gorgeous but I think I’d prefer a conventional fastening for the jacket
DeleteSuch an interesting shape to the jacket which really elevates a simple pantsuit. This would have been a great outfit to take on her recent trip to Paris. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Queen and gorgeous trouser suit! This suit is one of my favorites in Queen Mary's collection--the color is divine on her. I like how Mary often incorporates a brooch in her outfits and how she manages to wear her hair down but makes sure the brooch is still seen. Mary seems to really like The Fold designs and what I like is asymmetrical neckline style--it takes the blouse or jacket in a modern direction for traditional women's wear.

The unusual fastening, is appealing and different. The suit fits well. The color is sublime. I love the addition of the brooch on her jacket.
