On April 10, 2025, Queen Letizia of Spain held three official events at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid. She first received the promoters of the project “Weaving Networks: Wool, a Heritage in Danger of Extinction.” The initiative is a cross-cutting effort to highlight and raise awareness of the role of design in addressing specific social issues.
The Queen then received representatives of the Spanish Brain Council (CEC), on the occasion of the presentation of the "Spanish Brain Plan," aimed at preserving brain health and promoting research, prevention, care, and monitoring.
Afterwards, Queen Letizia received a delegation from the ANAR Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of children and adolescents at risk or in vulnerable situations. It has been working since 1970 to protect and support minors through various programs such as helplines, awareness-raising activities in schools and institutions, and shelters for children and teenagers in situations of neglect.
L'association du corsage brodé avec le pantalon à très fines rayures est parfaite pour Letizia ; ses cheveux sont toujours joliment lissés !
ReplyDeleteLove the blouse, elevates the overall look
ReplyDeleteThe top is very feminine and stylish with the voluminous sleeves. The pants are an interesting choice. I haven't seen pants with pleats worn lately. They were popular in the 1950's. Maybe they are making a comeback. They also look voluminous which Letizia can get away with since she is so slim. I have noticed she sometimes gets engulfed by too much fabric. I love pinstripes and stripes of all kinds since they are classic.
ReplyDelete@Sandra, pants with pleats came and were gone and came again and went away again, more than once during my own lifetime. I am very happy to see them again, we had overall tightness long enough - and I think pleat-free tightness never makes anyone slimmer than she is. Also: hello, pant waistline at our own waistline, nice to see you again! :-)

DeleteSince the legs of pants for women are wider and wider the pleats in the waist are coming back. Many brands make their pants like that now.

DeleteI am also glad to see pleated pants come back. Nothing ever really goes out of style these days. Anything goes. I see people wearing pyjamas and nightgowns when they walk their dogs in my neighborhood. Co-workers wear tight yoga pants in the office. Believe it or not, fashion is crazy these days.

I do not think the pleats flatter at all.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is one of the Queen's better looks because both the blouse and the trousers are quite voluminous. I'd probably keep the blouse but pair it with slimmer trousers. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteHello to the Queen ueen Leticia from the King
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizia looks beautiful in this outfit. I love how the super feminine blouse looks paired with the gray pinstriped trousers which are a more business attire type of look.
