Queen Camilla Visits The King's Gallery at Buckingham Palace

On April 1, 2025, Queen Camilla visited The King's Gallery at Buckingham Palace to view the 'Green Man Humpty Dumpty Egg,' which is displayed outside the gallery. This piece is one of 123 sculptures featured in 'The Big Egg Hunt,' a campaign by Elephant Family, the conservation charity founded by Queen Camilla's late brother, Mark Shand.

Painted by Alice Shirley, the egg was commissioned by the King and Queen. King Charles and Queen Camilla are joint patrons of Elephant Family, which collaborates with conservation experts to address challenges facing Asian wildlife and local communities. The egg sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for the charity’s initiatives.

Great blouse! Something different for Camilla and I want to see it in full glory, worn with a well-tailored skirt, not hidden underneath what here in the States we call a “jumper” (definitely confusing from the British pov, lol). No matter how dressed up you try to make it, this overgarment gives off a dowdy vibe.

To me, the overgarment is a pinafore. And a jumper is a sweater :)
      Love our differences :)

I fully agree. I have never been fond of jumpers on her. It gives me school uniform vibes. Wearing a nicer blouse under it does not improve the look for me.

The egg is beautifully painted and Q.C. looks quite good too!

Agree! Don't really understand the negative comments on her outfit, I think it suits her very well. The see through sleeves suit her. And I really like the egg as well :-)

Her signature look. It seems that the fashion is now see through sleeves. Be it a dress or blouse as seen on other royal ladies recently.

She seems to be adjusting well to her position as "QUEEN CONSORT"🤣

Queen Camilla looks prim and proper, like the headmistress of a girls‘ school. This outfit would look more fashionable with a casual, long-sleeved t-shirt but it would then not be elegant enough for the occasion. The boots do not improve the dowdy look.

Glad to see she finally got the gap in her front teeth fixed, and someone else is fixing her hair. Definitely softer looking now. Now if she could find someone to help with her wardrobe. I know she wants to stay away from what the Queen before her wore but….

Ladies, you are difficult to satisfy. I for one think the blouse is really nice, and pinafore or not, the whole ensemble is much better than one of her front-zipped - alternatively: front-buttoned dresses. This looks or is a pinafore but with this blouse, instead of one of her usual frilly-necklined-white ones worn under it, it looks waaaay better,. The blouse - let me use this wonderful word and smile with me: elevates the pinafore :-))).

Dear Paloma, I did a bit of research on pinafore dresses, they are definitely still fashionable, and I found some very interesting outfits, worn by young models, tres chics.

I wonder where today you saw these awful dresses. I only had one, when I was a young girl in the 60s. My mother didn't liked it either. She never liked I wore this dress type. Now I can understand why.
