From April 7 to 9, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria is undertaking an official visit to Nigeria together with Minister Andreas Carlson. On the first day of the visit, she attended a reception at the Swedish Residence in Abuja, hosted by Ambassador Annika Hahn-Englund and her husband, Magnus Astberg.

Among the guests were government representatives, members of civil society, the Nordic community, and alumni of Swedish programs. The visit is being carried out at the request of the Swedish government, with the aim of strengthening and further developing the bilateral relationship between Sweden and Nigeria.

    Love the dress. It’s extremely tricky to pull off an all-over floral print successfully (giant flowers splashed everywhere is even worse than giant polka-dots 🙄), but I think this exquisite dress by Malina does it perfectly, and it fits Victoria like a dream. The earrings, imo, are beyond awful. I guess they could be described as “playful”, but…no. — Jane

    I do like the dress pattern. It is the neckline that seems to be missing something. Perhaps a chunky necklace. Not a fan of this type of bodice, but it looks fine on her because her undergarment is keeping things where they should be, not sagging into the fabric. The earrings are pretty, looks like shells and coral, but I cansay the

    Je n'arrive pas à trouver de l'élégance dans ce genre de robe un peu trop longue à mon goût ; gourmande comme je suis, ses boucles d'oreilles me font penser à des bonbons acidulés que je m'achetais à la sortie de l'école !
