Oh sweet lady, but how lonely… either they’ve cleared all the seats around for security, or a not well attended match. Contrast with Victoria and Daniel with kids squeezed in at the ice hockey the other night!

I am on the fence once again about Princess Kako's outfit. On the one hand it looks good and I like the fringe details and the shortened sleeves, but on the other why does this dress look too large again ? I often get the feeling that Princess Kako's outfit are borrowed and not quite fitting her silhouette. But her earrings and hairdo are perfect.

Japanese fashion. Clothes have always been loose and oversized has been the thing for the past couple of years. You also have to consider that asian women have a different body shape compared to caucasians and others.

I like this dress, it is pretty, knowing how the Imperial Court likes her ladies dressed, it is not too big, it is simply not a tight fit we are accustomed to. I admit I am always happy to see her and her sweet smile, such a pleasant and yes: cultivated appearance (especially after having seen the Yorks in Dubai, the opposite of cultivated or at least carefully put together).

    Always sweet and good- humoured.
Their style of dressing is so different from Europe, so no comment on that.

I think the outfit is very flattering and youthful within the confines of royal court decorum. I much rather see a loose garment that's in proportion than a tight body hugging dress than is revealing of every contour, good or bad.

Paloma.
