Princess Ingrid Alexandra has completed her 15-month military service in the Engineer Battalion of Brigade Nord

Princess Ingrid Alexandra has completed her 15-month military service in the Engineer Battalion of Brigade Nord and has been discharged from the Armed Forces. Before Crown Prince Haakon arrived for the inspection, the Princess and her 47 fellow soldiers received the Military Merit Medal from their Battalion Commander, Bjørn Kråkstad.

Crown Prince Haakon inspected Princess Ingrid Alexandra and her fellow soldiers during the discharge ceremony. Princess Ingrid Alexandra began her military training in January 2024 and served for 15 months in the Engineer Battalion. Known as Private Alexandra in the military, the Princess primarily served as an artillery operator during her service. On April 4, the Princess will officially leave the Norwegian Armed Forces.

    She looks good in fatigues. Her proud dad. Love the last picture where she has let her fellow soldiers stand with her dad. Seems like she made some life long friends that will support her her thru her life.
