On April 25, 2025, Princess Charlene of Monaco, accompanied by Tendai Mtawarira, attended the opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the Sainte-Dévote Rugby Tournament at Stade Louis-II. This year, the patron of the tournament is Tendai Mtawarira, also known as “The Beast.” Originally from Zimbabwe, Tendai was crowned World Champion with South Africa.
Organized by the Monegasque Rugby Federation with the support of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation, the Sainte-Dévote Tournament has brought together young players under the age of 12 from around the world since 2009 to celebrate the very best of rugby: commitment, team spirit, and inclusion.

Strange way of dressing for a Rugby tournament! It's a sports'event, not a funeral or another solemn event.
Delete@3:29 - I think the all black this week across several queens is to do with the Pope’s death. But also, it’s common for people with VIP seating at sports events to wear suits.
DeleteAs a Catholic, she is probably wearing it to honour the late Pope.
DeleteT
she is mourning the passing of pope Francis
DeleteI must correct my post and apologize. I have just read that she as a Catholic princess is mourning the death of pope Francis. This gesture honours her. She has become a great princess since her treatment in a Swiss clinic.
DeleteHere is an outfit that really could use some sparkle.

She looks chic and stylish.
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene's somber attire may be in respect of the mourning period for the Pope. However, as always she nailed the outfit . It looks to be a perfect fit.
ReplyDeleteClassy lady ecen in sneakers

Je reconnais qu'elle est élégante en noir mais à mon humble avis, cela contraste avec ses baskets !
ReplyDeleteHello Achard62.
DeleteI’ve heard it called “shabby-chic” that is, you mix something of expensive, high fashion with something common.
I've seen Madame Macron do this when she wears casual combinations.
Princess Charlene in black in accordance with the mourning of His Holy Father.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful and tailored suit.
