On Thursday, April 24, 2025, Princess Charlène attended the 2025 edition of the “Water Safety” initiative, held at the swimming pool of Stade Louis-II in Monaco. Ahead of the Sainte Dévote Rugby Tournament, the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation organized this session to promote drowning prevention and raise awareness about water rescue.
Led by Foundation Ambassador Pierre Frolla and his team from the Monégasque Sea Academy, the session introduced children to life-saving techniques through a fun and educational approach to the aquatic environment.
More than 108 children from nine international teams participating in the tournament — including Mauritius, Ecuador, New Zealand, Argentina, the USA, South Africa, Zimbabwe, India, and Georgia — took part in various hands-on workshops.
