From April 8 to 10, King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway hosted a three-day official state visit by the President of Iceland, Ms. Halla Tómasdóttir, and her husband, Björn Skúlason. On the final day of the state visit, the President of Iceland and her husband hosted a return reception at Gamle Logen in Oslo. The return reception was attended by King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

Ms. Halla Tómasdóttir and Sonja win here for me. Ms. Iceland has a wonderful taste, no less wonderful than Queen Sonja's. And Ms Iceland's haistyle gives another lesson in how very good a short hairstyle can be. I always find MM's face and skin beautiful and her hair colour excellently fitting for her, but in most cases, my pleasure to see her stops there. Some have it in abundance, and some have it less: taste.
