Princess Eléonore is the fourth child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde

Princess Eléonore turns 17 today. Born on April 16, 2008, in Anderlecht, she is the fourth child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. Since the summer of 2023, Princess Eléonore has been studying in English at the International School of Brussels. To mark the occasion, the Royal House of Belgium released new photos of the Princess, taken by photographer Bas Bogaerts.

Princess Eléonore plays the violin and enjoys sports such as skiing, sailing, and tennis. She is fluent in French, Dutch, and English. Princess Eléonore lives with her parents, her sister Crown Princess Elisabeth, and her two brothers, Prince Gabriel and Prince Emmanuel, at the Royal Palace of Laeken.

    At least one photo looking at the camera would have been nice. These images look a little too posed and stiff/awkward. JMO.

      The photographer will have taken many photos and then the family will have chosen a subset of those… and then whoever published this post added a subset of the subset!

    Princess Eléonore looks very beautiful in her orange pants and white top. Both pieces have been bought at Zara's. I also like her delicate jewelry. She is dressed according her age. She is not imitating super stars or actresses and do not use heavy make-up that makes her look older than she is. Her make-up is soft and delicate and no black nail polish like some young girls are wearing these days.
