King Charles III and Queen Camilla have arrived in Rome for a four-day State Visit to the Republic of Italy. On April 7, 2025, the King and Queen landed at Ciampino’s 31st Wing Airport, where they were welcomed by Foreign Secretary David Lammy, the UK Ambassador to Italy and San Marino, Lord Llewellyn, as well as the Italian Ambassador to the UK, Inigo Lambertini, and his wife Maria Grazia.
During their stay in Rome, the King and Queen will meet with Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. On April 9, President Mattarella will host a State Banquet at the Quirinale Palace in honor of the royal couple’s 20th wedding anniversary. King Charles and Queen Camilla will reside at Villa Wolkonsky, the official residence of the UK Ambassador in Rome.
A familiar dress, much more flattering without the boots. A brooch would have added that extra touch for a queen consort.

Her signature look, the deep blue colour is very royal
ReplyDeleteHair has been thinned around the grown to make it less fly away;needs a bit cut off the length.Makeup looks a bit orange.Dress style okay;needs to get rid of the zip down the front of the dress.Court shoes and stockings look good.Charles looks good.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteThis dark blue dress looks very good on Camilla, and I think it's her footwear that also helps a lot to give such a positive overall look.

Her make up is a mess. Foundation doesn't match and the eyebrows stand out too much. Her hair would look so much nicer turned under instead of the old-fashioned style that went out years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks quite elegant! ( a bit smaller in her face?)
