On March 3, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Warcop Training Centre in her role as Royal Honorary Colonel. The Warcop Training Area (WTA) is a military training facility operated by the UK Ministry of Defence, located near the village of Warcop in Cumbria.
Established in 1942 as a tank gunnery range, Warcop was urgently needed to prepare for the impending invasion of mainland Europe. Today, training takes place at Warcop seven days a week, nearly year-round. During her visit, the Duchess wore a military camouflage jacket over grey skinny jeans and a matching turtleneck.
No fashion, but the camo colours look good on her
ReplyDeleteMuch better than small flowers and dust ruffles :-), looks real good.
DeleteGood on you;well at least somone might be prepared for whats coming. The jeans look good .It is nice to see the roles of the various royals..(Tara)
ReplyDeleteThe only people who are prepared of what might coming are the male and female soldiers in pic. N° 3. Duchess Sophie wears a millitary camouflage jacket just for the show. Her outfit is not complete, but of course she never had serious military training.
DeleteSophie fit right in with the Soldiers. She looks good in Camouflage.

Duchess Sophie defies her age.Seeing her in plain clothes, proves the enviable figure she has. Why she continually hides it under clothes that are too long or bunches of too much material. She would be a complete standout with the right styling!
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Ces couleurs de la tenue de camouflage lui vont fort bien ; je ne pense pas que ce soit le cas pour beaucoup de personnes !
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess Is wonderful even in a military gear.
