Veronica Beard Miller Dickey Double-breasted Blazer
The jackets by Veronica Beard are looking very beautiful on CP Victoria.
ReplyDeleteBetter look for her than "By Malino", the Scandinavian brand which is often chosen by Victoria.
Why is Victoria wearing this foreign brand?
ReplyDeleteBecause she wants to. But possibly also, her sister has been wearing this brand a while and may have introduced her to it. And you, why do you wear something?!!
DeleteBecause she doesn't need to wear Swedish brands all the time. She still keeps to her homeland designers frequently, but why not throw in a different brand from time to time?
DeleteSimple answer. This brand fits and suits Victoria much better than others. Ladies, wear what flatters you most and everyone else will just have to deal with it!
DeleteShe looks nice in this cut of jacket, regardless of brand. Better to wear what suits you than support a national brand that doesn’t.
ReplyDeleteI’m not sure that’s always true. There is a time to be ethical ahead of style for sure!
DeleteI agree with Anon 17:35. It doesn't make any sense to be restricted to a few brands or one country. She is a good ambassador for Swedish brands. She is also free to wear what she likes outside of those brands. It doesn't have anything to do with being ethical.
DeleteI agree with all your comments, cconcerning Victoria' s choice of brand. She is not obliged to wear Swedish brands all the time and this particular jacket together with the blouse underneath suits her very well.
ReplyDeleteThe blue suit is ok, but the tie neck blouse that Crown Princess Victoria seems to favour doesn't do much for her. The blouse together with the hair bun create a severe and old fashion look.

Tout à fait d'accord.
DeleteThe tie-neck blouse has had a special meaning in Sweden for some years. It was a "trademark" of a remarkable lady who passed away a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I do not remember the whole story, but such a blouse was worn by many ladies out of respect for her. It may be the reason why also Victoria wears it.

This jacket is beautifully made and crafted. I love the design and fit, perfect!
ReplyDeleteShe’s pretty and almost elegant but looks tired. C
-Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteI like the jacket of course, nice fitting, but not with this blouse, it would require something white. But she looks tired.
Froufrou
Froufrou, can you kindly explain what do you mean with the financial problems.
