On March 25, 2025, Queen Silvia of Sweden received Minister for Social Services Camilla Waltersson Grönvall at the Royal Palace. During the meeting, Minister Camilla Waltersson Grönvall and State Secretary Minna Ljunggren informed the Queen about the government’s efforts following the incorporation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child into Swedish law in 2020. Svante Rinalder, Communications Officer at the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, also attended the meeting.
Sweden ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, and it came into force the same year. In 2010, the Strategy to Strengthen the Rights of the Child in Sweden was adopted, emphasizing that all legislation concerning children should be in accordance with the convention. In 2020, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was incorporated into Swedish law.

ReplyDeleteA troll-y comment!
DeleteElégant blazer dont la couleur vert anis sied à merveille à la reine Silvia qui a su bien choisir un joli petit foulard imprimé !
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find something of this shade of green!
ReplyDeleteShe looks fab in this spring green! Possibly a wig? It does suit her but at her age, she’s really allowed to let grey hair show and she’ll also look great no doubt at all!
ReplyDeleteI prefer Queen Silvia in her Chanel look-a-like jackets, they fit better.
ReplyDeleteIt is her hair and she decides wether it stays colored or let it grey.
Nice blazer, but don't like the colour.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia's jacket is so stylish , that's exactly what I call "a trendy piece"!
ReplyDeleteShe looks effortlessly younger in this energetic and crisp shade of green (it Is referred to with different names depending on the brand/ collection).
Absolutely well done to her!👍👏
Fabulous jacket! The cut, colour and tailoring are all just right.
