On March 27, 2025, Queen Máxima attended the signing ceremony of the ‘More Harmony in Society’ music agreement in Kerkrade. For the past five years, all primary school students in the municipalities of Brunssum, Landgraaf, and Kerkrade have received weekly music education from professional instructors, along with extracurricular musical activities.
With the renewal of the music agreement, the program will now also be available to students in other municipalities within the Parkstad Limburg region.
Queen Máxima also attended the plenary session, where past achievements were reviewed, and ambitions for the coming years were shared. The program featured performances by a dance class, school choirs, a pop band, and students playing wind instruments. The Queen is the honorary chair of More Music in the Classroom.
Really like this outfit. The dress is a beautiful colour, the hat is pure Maxima, and the coat is great. My one minor quibble would be the sleeves of the dress—-they look fine in some photos but not others.
ReplyDeleteAgree, with you about the sleeves.
DeleteFabulous hat for a fabulous initiative. Music in schools is a really beautiful and helpful gift to children.
ReplyDeleteI really admire Queen Maxima for her energy and her megawatt smile. I’m not sure the green dress flatters her but she always looks like she’s giving it her best enthusiasm for an event.
ReplyDeleteI don’t know how she stands in those shoes!
Me neither, those towering heels are something else. There’s a recent inane debate going on in these comments where if you comment that the shoes are very high someone else will tell you you’re being shoe-ist, but it’s fact: these are very high heels.
DeleteOf course they are high heels, and they look fabulous! Some day she will have to lower her heels. For now, she rocks them!
DeleteThe question is mostly, about "age", young women like the heels and are willing to do efforts to adapt to it, later ladies prefer comfort. That is my case, but still have admiration for the ladies wearing them, at least for some hours and occasionally.
DeleteMaxima looks great here, nice outfit, we have seen it before.
DeleteI don't know either how people can walk and stand in these heels.
Suppose it takes some training. Why it is considered elegant and something to be admired to do something so unnatural to your feet und body escapes me. It seems it is either Killer stilettos
now or flat shoes and nothing in between. A more moderate and thicker heel does not seem to exist anymore in high fashion circles, even dough they would look so much nicer.

Oh loveliness pure, in other words, Oscar de la Renta. I love everything here, the flow, color and length of the dress, her beautiful arms on display, the extraordinary coat and do I need to say something about the magical connection between Máxima and huge hats?
ReplyDeleteThe dress is edgy, I love it! The green color is divine. Her coat is colorful, elegant. She suits these type of hats.
ReplyDeleteLike here combination today. Also, nice colors.

I have always loved this coat on Q. Max and it’s great to see it again. The dress doesn’t wow me. Although the colour is great I find the split sleeves distracting. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThose are my thoughts as well. I love her shoes and when you wear them often they can be comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the minority here but I think this dress makes her look "bulky".
ReplyDeleteShe has a good shape so it's unfortunate.

Those children are just adorable! 🥰 They look really happy and excited to be photographed with the Queen.
ReplyDeleteThe green color is lovely, and v the outfit works, but I'm not sure about the sleeves, I had not said is an Oscar de la Renta creation. Nevertheless she looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHair hidden under a hat, good. Colour of green dress, lovely, sleeveless look, not so good.
