On March 17, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited Pilehaveskolen in Vallensbæk Municipality together with executives from the Mary Foundation. The visit was also attended by Helle Østergaard, Director of Børns Vilkår; Rasmus Kjeldahl, Secretary-General of Save the Children Denmark; and Henrik Rasmussen, Mayor of Vallensbæk Municipality.
During the visit, students and teachers shared their experiences and insights on the school's work with Skolestyrken. Since 2020, Skolestyrken has been implemented in several schools across Denmark. Pilehaveskolen in Vallensbæk Municipality is part of the project alongside other schools in the municipality, with support from the local government.
Skolestyrken was developed through a collaboration between the Mary Foundation, Børns Vilkår, and Save the Children Denmark. This initiative is a comprehensive approach aimed at promoting well-being in schools and combating bullying. It is funded by the A.P. Møller Foundation, TrygFonden, Ole Kirk’s Foundation, and the Mary Foundation.
Lovely outfit. I hope she is okay. She is apparently not well and some engagements have been cancelled. Get well soon Ma’am.
ReplyDeleteI can’t say this is a favourite suit from Mary’s closet. The oversized jacket fails to give it shape.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
I agree.
DeleteI am not fan of the suit. The color should be seen in real, but too dark in my view.
DeleteQueen Mary looks wonderful here--a very pretty and simple look. The suit or separates look wonderful on her. I'm hoping she is feeling much better and has recovered from her recent illness. She is so rarely ill that she must have been quite sick to have cancelled some of her engagements.

I generally like the suit though the jacket could have been a bit narrower. These earrings always look good. the footwear could have a more contemporary look but she likes her stilettos
ReplyDeleteAgree re the stilettos. I find this suit / sweater outfit to have the cosy snug feeling of easy clothing after returning to work from illness, and a relaxed (enough) look for the kids she met too. I think a flat loafer would have been even better for the overall balance, and matched the trouser hem length better too.
DeleteA more solid heeled shoe or boot would be more suitable for this oversized suit, these stilettos are just so over rated, they belong in the bin!

DeleteDo you think every queen or princess who has a beautiful pair of shoes or booties with stilettos will throw them in the bin ? They also have to think of the climate changes and have to wear their shoes and clothes much longer than before, like everybody else. Never heard of sustainability ?
Thank God, she is well again!
ReplyDeleteWas it influensa?
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary is utter perfection.
ReplyDeleteJacket is a bit too large and the outfit needed a pop of color but she looks nice overall.
ReplyDelete@ Ehbeth
ReplyDeleteDid you see it ? Queen Mary is wearing booties with stilletos. Queen Mathilde also has this type of booties with high stilletos. She didn't wear them often this winter only one or two times.
Such a good fit, it is too bulky for her.
ReplyDeleteI really like her!The smile and the eyes shining when she meets someone. They must feel so speciell
