A particular highlight was the Fashioning Sudan project, which explores textile craftsmanship in ancient Nubia. The project is linked to the Scandinavian expedition to Nubia in the 1960s, which the Queen of Denmark visited as a young princess. The visit included presentations on the role of textiles in historical research, as well as demonstrations of advanced analytical methods for examining textile fibers.

Lovely to see her enjoying her interests. Nice big M pin on her blue jacket. A colour that looks so nice on her.

I can't help but feel affection for the great Queen Margrethe.
She's an artist and a creative mind.
This engagemennt fits her like a glove more than the outfit she is wearing.
It Is a treat to see her on the public scene.
I feel she is still much missed and loved with due respect for the reigning couple, of course
