Queen Letizia of Spain is making a working visit to the Republic of Cabo Verde to learn about the efforts of Spanish Cooperation (Cooperación Española). On March 27, 2025, Queen Letizia met with the First Lady of the Republic of Cabo Verde, Débora Katisa Carvalho, at the Presidential Palace in Praia.
The Queen, together with the First Lady, visited the "Fazenda Esperança" project on Santiago Island. This therapeutic community focuses on the recovery of young people struggling with drug addiction and the prevention of substance abuse.
The Queen also visited the Amaranta Foundation, which runs the "Kredita Na Bo" (Believe in Yourself) project. This initiative supports young women and adolescents who have been victims of sexual exploitation, human trafficking for various purposes, and gender-based violence, helping them achieve personal and social reintegration.
Debora’s blouse is very interesting.

The First Lady looks superb, in one of the most elegant daytime looks I’ve seen in a while. Her hair is beautifully done too. — Jane
