Princess Astrid of Belgium undertook a seven-day working visit to India from March 1 to 8, representing the King, along with a Belgian economic delegation. In New Delhi, the Princess met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh, and Minister of Railways and Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw.
During the economic mission to India, led by Princess Astrid, 39 agreements were signed between Belgian and Indian companies and academic institutions, fostering growth, innovation, and job creation in both countries.
On March 6, Princess Astrid visited a proton therapy center in Mumbai, which utilizes technology from the Belgian company Ion Beam Applications (IBA). She then visited a site of the Belgian company John Cockerill, which specializes in cold rolling technologies—a process that makes metal thinner, stronger, and smoother without heating it.
On the final day of the economic mission, Princess Astrid visited the 'Congo River', a dredger from the Belgian company DEME Group, a global leader in dredging and sustainable maritime solutions. This visit also highlighted the strategic cooperation between the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and India’s largest port, Jawaharlal Nehru Port.
De toutes les tenues que je vois, c'est celle de la troisième photo qui a ma préférence ; je n'ai jamais vu la princesse aussi bien vêtue !
ReplyDeleteJ'aime la troisième et la quatrième photo.
DeleteI think she’s done very well here, fashion-wise. The pink jacket and printed skirt is really flattering and fits her well. Likewise the green and white shirt dress, the gold suit and the long red lace dress. The only outfit I don’t like is the last one with the brocade skirt. It is an awkward shape and makes her look quite bulky. (V.M.)

DeleteI like that this princess has a varied wardrobe. The green dress with pleats is nice but it is not flattering. Same with the last photo the type of blouse just is too loose. Most likely silk so cool to wear, perhaps if she had the short pink jacket it would of been a nicer look. But the fabric of the skirt lovely even if it look stiff.
ReplyDeleteI must say Pss Astrid did well fashion wise at this trip. The red gown may look better with a V or U neck cut, like this it looks a bid ordinary, it needed something. I do like both of the green dresses. On the last pic the skirt looks like a tulip, it makes her look bigger. But overall, she did well.

I found out on another website that her pink jacket and multi colored skirt are from the Belgian brand Essentiel Antwerp. To me it is the best look she had on this trip to India.
