On March 19, 2025, Princess Aiko of Japan, the daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, visited the Japan Marine United Isogo Shipyard in Yokohama to attend its naming and launch ceremony. The ship, named 'Mirai II,' will be used for atmospheric and sea ice observations in the Arctic region and is designed to navigate through ice-covered waters.
In 2021, construction began on Mirai II, Japan's first Arctic research vessel with icebreaking capability. The icebreaker was commissioned by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC). The name 'Mirai II,' meaning 'Future II,' was chosen from over 7,000 public submissions.
Quel élégant blazer porté sur une robe ou une association d'un haut avec une jupe ?! Cette couleur lui va superbement bien !
ReplyDeleteCette couleur lui va à ravir.

Now that's a beautiful blue suit on a lovely girl. I like the colour and the style of the top. It's fresh and modern. We cannot see the skirt and I hope it isn't too long as I'm guessing, but for now the top is perfect. Lovely!

I agree…the blue is gorgeous on her. (V.M.)
DeleteI agree it was such a surprise to see such a well fitting jacket. Love the colour blue. She looks wonderful. Well done
DeleteAgree! She looks lovely!
DeleteAgree with you all. Also the point made by Anon 9:13 that we cannot see the skirt so can hope that it’s a good length with smart shoes!
Delete
The Japanese Hair Fringe trend never works for her.
ReplyDeleteHer suit is well fitting.
I think these younger princesses of JRF are slowly making small fashion trend changes. Good on them it is a delight that they embrace style even in a small way. Mary
ReplyDeleteI would love to see this jacket converted to a collarless style, or at least with lapels that are smooth, rather than notched. Either would be so much more elegant and feminine. Aiko is a lovely woman and imo deserves better than the masculine-styled lapels we have to see on so many of our pantsuit-wearing royal ladies.
