Crown Prince Haakon, Queen Sonja, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the Dream Day for Children and Youth event in Granåsen as part of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2025. The 44th FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is taking place from February 26 to March 9, 2025, in Trondheim, Norway. The royal family is participating in a series of events throughout the competition, meeting with volunteers and athletes, and attending cultural programs related to the championship.
Kudos to the CP couple and Queen Sonja for participating in such a great event and all the championship.
ReplyDeleteThey all look gorgeous.
The Queen is splendid , what an incredibile lady she is!
I wish Mette- Marit all the best and continued good health.
Always delighted to see the Norwegian royals, they seem to be warm and friendly. Great pics, thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteRight on it looks like fun
ReplyDeleteSonja meravigliosa, come tutta la sua famiglia.

ReplyDeleteNo, absolutely not. They're warm and lovely.
DeleteWhat the crownprincess non-royal son has done has nothing to do with the royal family, even though it of course affects them deeply.
What is wrong with you? Here we have a comment that I'm dumbfounded has gone through censor. Can we please stop all this hate.

DeleteMy thoughts exactly.
I'm afraid that the hate won't end until the blog administrators put a plug on such nasty and pointless
'comments'
* pull the plug on
DeleteSorry, I just want to add that all bloggers including myself come together on this board to escape from the frightening news we get on a daily basis.
DeleteEurope and the world have come to crucial crossroads.
Hopefully it is clear that bloggers want to have some fun here .
They do not need to find toxic stuff and negativity all the time.
On the contrary anon 18:18. They are very liked in Norway because they are so down to earth and kind people.
DeleteThere must be something very wrong with you, too unhappy life perhaps. Are you that person who always writes short, unkind comments about Queen Mary too? This is not the right forum for you.
The popularity of the Norwegian royal household has taken a significant hit following the controversies surrounding Marius Borg Høiby. According to a poll conducted by Norstat for NRK in December 2024, about 45% of respondents now have a more negative view of the royal family, with the vast majority attributing their opinion to the Høiby scandal. Let’s stick to facts.
DeleteStrange how you didn't mention the latest poll where 69% of the people wanted the monarchy.
DeleteC'est un plaisir de voir ces photos ; bonne santé à la reine ainsi qu'à Mette-Marit !
ReplyDeleteWhy would they be the most unpopular Royal family in the world? Every family has a black sheep in the family somewhere. They look pretty in their orange/red puffa jackets.
ReplyDeleteIgnoring those comments is the way to go. They just got an excuse to validate their dislike of someone.
DeleteT
Agree. They are not unpopular. Haters will be haters.
DeleteThe year 2024 has been described as an "annus horribilis" for the Norwegian royal family, with various controversies and legal issues affecting their public image. Despite these challenges, the royal family continues to receive support from some segments of the population, but their overall popularity has undoubtedly been impacted.
DeleteSo nice to see them at such great event. Like the jackets.

Never saw so much of Mette-Marit as since her son got in trouble. I thought she was sick.
ReplyDeleteDoes she have to be bedridden or be seen bursting into tears in public?
DeleteShe has to carry off her royal duties and that's what she is doing nonetheless.
Why don't you get some inspiration from her dignified behaviour?
Moreover , the Princess is a very cultivated lady.
Just think about it.
This nonsense. MM work as much as she can based on her health, and has done so since she got sick, but you couldn't be more loudly what this really was all about.
