On March 15, 2025, Norway’s King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Astrid attended the 2025 Holmenkollen Ski Festival, where they watched the 20 km classic cross-country race for men and women. After the competition, the royal family congratulated the winning athletes. The Holmenkollen Ski Festival is a traditional Nordic skiing event held annually in Holmenkollen.
