On March 12, 2025, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended a meeting with business and social organizations at the headquarters of the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community to receive information about the DANA storm. The King and Queen visited the areas affected by the October 29 storm multiple times, accompanied by the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía on one of these visits.
After the meeting, they met with representatives from AECC, Cáritas Española, CERMI, the Spanish Mental Health Confederation, the Red Cross, the European Network for the Fight Against Poverty and Social Exclusion, FEDER, the Children's Platform, the Third Sector Platform, the Volunteering Platform of Spain, and ONCE.
