King Charles and Queen Camilla are on a two-day visit to Northern Ireland. On the second day of the visit, King Charles and Queen Camilla visited Limavady and met members of the local community in Market Street, often referred to as the ‘throbbing heart’ of the area. The King and Queen then visited the Roe Valley Arts and Culture Centre, which is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary and runs a range of cultural programmes.

Nice look for Q Camilla. Like the green outfit. Always nice to be at the Emerald Island.

I agree. It suits her very good. Nice color for her but a bit ‘wintery’.

I love picture 5, with the curving staircase, the light coming in, the pictures, and the stunning spring flower arrangement. Camilla looks good in this environment.

It looks to me King Charles has his suits made smaller in the shoulders: becomes him!

So far, Queen Camilla has opted for fir green outfits.

It's an attractive colour, I must admit. As is her suit and dress.

As I've read, I also like her earrings, which echo the colour of her outfit.

I find her comfortable and relaxed in her role. Which is very nice to see.

I wonder why Camilla dresses so "old lady" when we see on the other Queens older than her how it can be done.

I’m just guessing, of course, but while I think Camilla has always been quite good at being presentable, thoughts about fashion and what makes an outfit elegant or chic just have never been of any interest to her, and since her husband considers her wonderful as she is, “presentable” is what we’ll continue to get. (I do think that she was magnificently dressed for her wedding to then-Prince Charles, though. Somebody must have sat her down and convinced her to let someone aggressively style her, “just this once”.) I often remind myself that she never wanted to be in the public eye. — Jane

Jane. A woman should never dress for a man, but for herself. We all dress to make ourselves look and feel our best.

Anonymous at 22:21. I believe I made it quite clear that imo Camilla dresses to please herself: i.e., that she is not particularly concerned about looking elegant or chic, but rather is happy to just be pleasantly presentable. I also think that part of being considerate toward one’s spouse — whether one is a man or a woman — is to be sensitive to the feelings and opinions of one’s partner at all times. Don’t you? 🙂
