On March 17, 2025, Queen Rania of Jordan hosted an Iftar banquet at Prince Hashem Bin Abdullah II Youth City in Madaba, where she joined a group of women from across the governorate who had distinguished themselves in various fields. During the Iftar, Jordan's Queen Rania extended her blessings to those observing the holy month of Ramadan, as well as those observing Lent. Madaba Governor Faisal Masaeed also attended the Iftar.
Madaba is the capital city of Madaba Governorate in central Jordan. It is best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, particularly the large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the Holy Land. The Queen wore a smocked chest foulard kaftan from the South African fashion brand THEBE MAGUGU for the Iftar dinner.
THEBE MAGUGU Smocked Chest Foulard Kaftan
I prefer the dress as worn by the Queen, with the belt. The bodice has interesting features.
ردحذفNot crazy about the colour, but she can wear it well. What I like is the intricacy of the fabric folds to create a design.
ردحذفThe Kaftan doesn't need the tie but it is none-the-less an absolutely beautiful take on a culturally traditional style of dressing. I love the colour. The Queen looks stunning
ردحذفLa silhouette de Rania peut se permettre de porter une ceinture sur ce superbe caftan ; j'adore les smokes sur la poitrine !
ردحذفI don’t like the kaftan as shown by the marketing / model - but somehow Rania pulls is off beautifully! I (personally ; purely my opinion) worry that she has gone now far too far with surgery and fillers; I have hoped (personally ; my opinion!) to see her let go a little in her 50s, to show her age, some wrinkles, some smile lines … alas. In the end, the trend of fillers is simply a fashion trend, and it is not one I like ( personally; my opinion!!! ). I am so much happier to see reality and the beauty of faces showing the story of the life they have lived!
ردحذفAgree !!
حذفI agree Queen Rania's face is too perfect, but she is not the only royal who succumbed to the trend of fillers and cosmetic surgeries.
حذفRegarding her kaftan-dress, I don't like the style nor the colour (simply a question of taste) it is a rare miss for Queen Rania.

حذفWell said, show the story of the life they lived. I do not admire hiding the truth. I know it is up to the individual…but …just my opinion
حذفThe dress looks better on Queen Rania than on the model.
