Day 2 of Singaporean President and First Lady's State Visit to Luxembourg

At the invitation of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and First Lady Jane Ittogi are on a two-day state visit to Luxembourg. On the second day of the visit, the Singaporean President and First Lady, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess toured Betzdorf Castle, which houses the headquarters of the satellite operator SES and the aerospace company SpeQtral.

Later, in front of the Grand Ducal Palace, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and First Lady Jane Ittogi bid farewell to Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Luxembourgish authorities, and the delegation.

    I don't understand GD Maria Teresa's look at all.

    But at first glance, I regret the lack of bright colours to brighten it up.
    I also think her cape is very long.

  2. Navrée , je suis déçue par l'imprimé qui cache entièrement le haut de Maria Teresa ; chez la Première Dame, j'aime beaucoup la couleur verte associée au bleu pâle d'une légère étole, couleurs retrouvées dans sa pochette - Sur la dernière photo, porte t-elle une tenue traditionnelle ?!

      Whoa what is going on with these wardrobes.I don’t understand the choices made by either lady. Nothing seems coordinated, odd hats, dark colours, comfy shoes, draped material. Other than lovely smiles the men definitely out shine the ladies in their well fitted suits.

    GD Maria Teresa's dress is looking like a big black tent. She is too short to wear a dress with so much volume.

  6. This ensemble looks like a large mass of material, as someone else has rightly said a tent! Her height can be problematic when she wears outfits such as this the bulk is too much for her frame.

    Je pense que sa tunique est une sorte d'hommage au style asiatique avec des broderies stylisées (on dirait des nénuphars sur un étang) mais les couleurs sont assez ternes et c'est dommage d'avoir ajouté ce long manteau qui balaye la poussière du sol. Paloma.
