On March 19, 2025, Swedish Crown Princess Victoria attended the Nordic Day celebrations held at the Swedish Riksdag in Stockholm, a few days ahead of the official date on March 23. The Crown Princess first attended a seminar on Nordic cohesion held in the Second Chamber Hall, followed by a performance by the Värmlands Nations Choir.
The Treaty of Cooperation between Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden (known as the Helsinki Treaty) was signed on March 23, 1962.

Diese ewigen Hosenanzüge bei Victoria werden schon langsam langweilig!
ReplyDeleteMir gefallen sie; ein Signature-Style wie dieser ist schöner als die Blümchenkleider der Vergangenheit.

I think the classic suit look can be timeless and professional. It’s a style that works well in most settings and can be pretty versatile.
DeleteI can't believe she is still wearing a cheap plastic hair clip to a meeting. A nice ponytail styled at the nape of the neck would look so much better.

I don’t see the plastic clip you refer to here? In any case, Sweden is pretty casual and I doubt anyone would judge another for a clip to keep their hair neat. The blue suits her very well I think.
DeleteI agree the clips do look cheap, but they are not - shockingly (to me anyway), plain clips from this maker sell for way over $100 US. I remember seeing one worn by the princess in a pic on another royal fashion blog that was $175. And that one was just a plain beige plastic clip. Some of the clips on the maker’s site are $700 - $800 or more.
DeleteSeriously, what does it matter what the hair clip costs? I can’t believe there’s an opinion about it at all. It isn’t relevant in any perspective. And a ponytail doesn’t always work for Victoria as her hair is so curly and so big and she doesn’t like that.
DeleteMjt, it sounds like you're frustrated with her choice of accessory. However, hair clips are not necessarily cheap these days—they can be quite stylish and trendy. Sometimes people just prefer to stick with what feels comfortable, even if it’s not the most formal option.
DeleteThis looks actually quite nice. The suit fits Victoria beautifully, it is the right size and a very becoming shape. The colour is soft and the grey shoes and bag are a great accent colour without too much contrast. I am especially pleased to see a normal top underneath this suit. Imo, there are really only three styles of necklines that work with jackets: a classic shirt collar, a basic round neckline (crew neck or lower), or a turtleneck. A v-neck might also work but needs to be aligned well with the lapels of the jacket.
ReplyDeletePlease Victoria, change your hairdo already.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trouser suit, but the hairstyle…🤐
ReplyDeleteNice suit, colours too: well mixed.
ReplyDeleteBut in my opinion, it would have looked better with pumps; those boots don't add much to the outfit.
On the contrary, black or beige suede pumps would have been more elegant.
Nonetheless, she's a beautiful woman who knows how to make the most of herself.

Very nice tone on tone look, the colour is very refreshing. I would of liked to see a nice pendant or something to break up the plain look.
ReplyDeleteHello to Sweden from the King
ReplyDeleteLovely trouser suit with great accessories. CP Victoria looks smart &professional but with style.
ReplyDeleteOut of interest, as many just say anon, are those who criticise the Crown Princess for her severe pulled back hairstyle the same people who criticise Queen Maxima for leaving her hair loose and straggly?
I understand Princess Victoria has frizzy hair that is difficult to tame, at the same time she wishes to look neat and professional in all situations. I find this approach much more interesting than a crown Princess who wastes her precious time in front of a mirror out of pure vanity.
