    Honestly, that's not my style.

    So I'd rather not comment.

I don't think Madame Gabrielle Chanel would approve.

Chanel, what are you doing? This material, length and overall form suits Charlotte, but what is this weird white hemisphere on the top half? For me that ruins what is otherwise nice, although not nice enough to justify the super high price. Is Chanel resting too too long on their very old laurels? - to discuss!

    1. I totally agree. For once I like this Chanel outfit, in general, but the bib effect is just weird. I think I might cope with the trim round the armholes but it think it would be better if this was also removed

  4. Charlotte is such a beautiful woman, this jumpsuit does not flatter her at all. The stitching on the top to resemble a “wife-beater” tank, the leg slits- all terrible. I can’t think of anyone who would actually look good in this. Wouldn’t it be in Chanel’s best interest to dress their ambassador in an outfit that really makes her shine??

it may be haute couture fashion and is certainly very expensive, but I don't like it AT ALL (both on the model and on Charlotte)

This dress is from the ready-to-wear collection, not the haute couture. During Gabrielle Chanel's lifetime only haute couture was made, nowadays they have two lines and the cheaper (but also expensive) ready-to-wear collection is usually not so nice as the more expensive haute couture. Probably the two lines have different designers wihin the house.

A big no for me. It looks like a pale pink bib outline. It just goes to show that you cannot put just anything on a thin attractive woman that automatically makes it look good. I must say I am disappointed with Chanel

Her hair looks nice here, but I think this jumpsuit outfit looks dreadful - the lines of it, the busy pattern, everything.

While I do like more of the Chanel designs Charlotte wears than most of the commenters here, I do not like this at all. I can't think of any positives, except that the fabric is beautiful. That being said, she is doing an excellent job for her employer. She is representing the company by wearing their designs, whether she likes them or not.

Terrible suit. She is always wearing the ugliest clothes lately.

A rather pathetic effort to compose a jumpsuit connecting features of a bib, a pinafore and a horse rug.

  16. Poor Charlotte. She needs someone like Armani to style her. She's young and beautiful and could dress like a knock out. Not this. NEVER THIS.

Well Mary, she’s in Chanel because she’s working for Chanel - so I’m not sure Armani would be welcome! I think when we see her wearing her own clothes she looks quite different and doesn’t need a stylist.

Well 21:21 maybe she should go to work for Armani or someone else who makes beautiful clothes, since Chanel doesn't seem to know how to dress her to make her look beautiful.

    3. No, this is just not flattering to her at all. She needs someone else to help her find her outfits.

This is just plain awful. 😞 does she have a contract that says she can only wear Chanel. She wears the ugliest clothes and shoes ever. All of their clothes are made from the same fabric.

  18. Posture, Charlotte, posture! Have you never heard of, chest out, tummy in, shoulders back? Long neck, chin slightly in, hips slightly twisted, one foot behind the other. And then smile! Seems all these ballet and horse riding classes led to nothing. With this bad posture nobody can pull off High Couture. But then again Chanel has become so bad. She should detach herself from them and look for a brand that fits her body type and her personality. Hair and makeup are good though.

Charlotte will go a long way with your posture instructions.
Good on her to have you as a modelling guru.

Oh dear...The jacket part of this suit is just plain awful. The trousers are good but I'm not a fan of the split on the side near the ankle and hemline. But this outfit is not as overall dreadful as many of the things Charlotte wears for Chanel.
