On March 5, 2025, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium hosted a dinner at Laeken Castle for a group of general practitioners. They discussed the importance of primary healthcare, the challenges of their profession, and, most importantly, what motivates them to pursue this noble vocation. General practitioners are the first point of contact for anyone with medical questions or concerns about health and illness.
No! - Ellie
ReplyDeleteEllie I think the rest of your comment got lost because all we see is “no” ?? …? I think Mathilde is stunning in this blue-green hue. The trousers and shoes look very interesting fabrics but just from these 2 unclear pics it’s hard to get a full sense for the outfit. I think blouse + straight trousers is always very flattering for Mathilde with her high waist and extremely long legs.
DeleteHaha, you’re right! Looks like my “no” got a little lost in translation! I agree with you – Queen Mathilde does look stunning in that blue-green hue, and the blouse + straight trousers combo is definitely a flattering choice for her. It’s always interesting to see how she pulls off different fabrics, even from just a couple of pics!
DeleteNo, to the cheap looking earrings, and bow on the blouse.
ReplyDeleteWell done Mathilde, good and not too much for her guests.
ReplyDeleteCette couleur bleu-canard lui va à merveille mais à mon avis, pas dans la combinaison du chemisier et du pantalon à taille haute - Bon choix que ses boucles d'oreilles !
ReplyDeleteLove the colour, not keen on the trouser fabric but it works well with this soft blouse, gives a hue of the pants
ReplyDeleteJ’aime cette couleur, qui rend justice à la reine Mathilde.
ReplyDeletePetrol blue is a good color for Queen Mathilde. Good she is wearing modern earrings with the outfit so that it looks not too festive. In January she has worn the same outfit with diamond earrings for another occassion. In fact nobody is sure at which designer she bought it. The same pants in this special velvet fabric are made by Caroline Biss, a Belgian designer who sold already clothes to the queen. Caroline Biss presents it with a shirt in the same color in a shiny fabric. On the other hand Natan made a top in about the same fabric in mustard yellow. There are people who say he was the one who made the pants. I think she bought the pants and the top at 2 different designers.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the petrol blue looks great on Queen Mathilde, and the modern earrings definitely help tone it down, making it suitable for various occasions. It’s interesting to see how different designers interpret similar fabrics and colors. I also think it's likely she mixed and matched pieces from different designers—both Caroline Biss and Natan have unique takes on the velvet fabric, which could explain the confusion. It's always fascinating to see how the Queen manages to keep things fresh while still wearing pieces from her favorite designers!
DeleteA beautiful color and it suits QM. But the style of trouser is unflattering.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Exactement !
DeleteLike the blouse not the pants. But a very nice smile.
