I agree (If I had said that, you would have offended me and censored) Irene

Nice message but the photo is a bit odd , it looks like the cross in the woods.

The photo is a bit dark and eerie;not conveying hope;it needs a bit of brightness(Tara)

Nice, Prince Louie's photos of his mother are very good, he may step into his mother's shoes. I like the message.

She has light behind her and awaits everything in front of her with open arms.

Sorry I don’t understand what is meant by these photos or statement. If Louie took this photo, he did a good job of keeping the camera straight, and centering the princess. Very dark vibes

This is not a creepy or eerie photo. It is winter in a forest. It can't be warm and sunny all the time. I think this is a photo that could only have been captured by one of her children, and it is fun and lovely. It looks celebratory to me. This is to honor World Cancer Day. As happens so often here, the point has been missed.

The point has not been missed - people have a different opinion. Try putting your name to your opinion it helps. LRB

  9. Mmh, I don't understand the picture, too dark, unusual posture, nevertheless i'm assuming it has special significance to them and that's what counts.
We did not walk their walk, so let's be respectful of their choices.

  10. Given the fact that Catherine was reviled for her minor photoshopping of the last family photo, I'm sure she wanted no criticism this time. Plus, the photo was taken by her 6-year-old son - is she supposed to tell Louis that the photo's no good???. I love the angle - it's not creepy. Catherine is breathing in the healing powers of nature on a cold winter's day. She looks triumphant and as if she is saying, "FU, cancer!"

  11. This photo was taken by a young child and I think it is wonderful! Obviously little Louis is as interested in photography as his mother is!

Sorry, I haven't got much time.
The majority of the comments here sound truly creepy and senseless though they do not come as unexpected to me.
The picture and Princess Kate's words are highly symbolic and moving.
    No brainer to interpret them
It's all about a personal cancer journey, from darkness to light and a new Life as a second chance.
The most powerful message of resilience and hope for all cancer smitten patients.
Anyway, I just want to attach an article on hidden meanings and many more can be found on the net.
