On February 11, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Friends and Family Tubing activity at Bubly Tube Park, in the heart of Whistler, during day three of the 2025 Invictus Games. This year’s Games are the first to feature winter adaptive sports, including alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, and skeleton.
On February 10, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially opened the first-ever winter adaptive sports competitions at the Invictus Games during the Welcome to Whistler celebration. Later that day, they attended the Skeleton Finals at the Whistler Sliding Centre, during day two of the 2025 Invictus Games. More than 500 competitors from 23 nations are taking part in the seventh edition of the Games in Vancouver, which began on Saturday and will continue until February 16.
White with black, black with white, I guess you can’t go wrong. Dressed for the weather. Mr. Buble looks nice
ReplyDelete@15:07 - do you live in a cold climate? I do, & we don't wear tropical colors & have parrots on our shoulders. It's cold now & this is what people wear. I don't see many people wearing bright pink & orange & green this time of year; we are also not depressed. ~~Ruthie
DeleteI live in a cold climate and there are plenty of people wearing colorful hats and scarves as well as jackets in coats in blues, greens, reds, purples, etc. Winter clothes do not have to be boring black and white.
DeleteWell Ruthie I live right here where the games are held. All I am saying is she tends to wear white and black alot. We wear other colours in winter too.
DeleteRuthie, It sounds like you're in a place where the weather really influences the style choices! Fashion definitely varies based on location and season. I guess bright colors can bring a bit of fun and cheer, no matter the weather, but I totally get how the cold can lead to more muted tones. Everyone has their own vibe, right…love to ser that parrot on your shoulder while on vacation though 😊
DeleteThose coats look warm! We can't see much else of what she is wearing underneath, but her clothes look fairly simple. Turtlenecks and slim cut pants to tuck into her boots. Very après-ski. I didn't know Michael Bublé would be there and sing a song! How wonderful! From all I have seen, this has been a very welcoming event for the athletes and their families.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun event. Like the black and white. If Winter outdoor wear can be elegant, this is it.
ReplyDeleteBoth these parkas are Canadian made and have been in Megan’s wardrobe since she lived in Toronto , before meeting Harry. Timeless quality pieces.
ReplyDeleteCan’t go wrong with these.
Lily
Lovely to see them very appropriately dressed for our bone-chilling Canadian winter, lol. AND...they're having fun too in the snow, like all of us :))

Amazing pictures. I like their Invictus-photos a lot.
ReplyDeleteAda
Ada, would you say a bit more to describe “amazing photos”? I just see them as normal quality photos of various people, nothing standing out as particularly noteable. What makes them “amazing” in your view? Thanks, Nary
DeleteNary, these photos actually made me smile which, these days, is amazing. The photo of Meghan sliding in the tube was fun! It looks like a great time for all, which for injured Invictus participants is an admirable accomplishment.
DeleteAlways lovely to see Meghan and Harry. Both are fantastic in their charities.
ReplyDeleteContente de revoir ce charmant et charismatique .

Nice coat.

I do appreciate the love and affection they have and show for each other.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless them.
I am a huge fan of what Invictus is doing for veterans around the world. It is lovely to see H&M so happy and engaged with competitors and their families - unlike the Olympics this is truly an event for the whole family which makes it so much better . Wives, parents and children and the wider family often struggle with a severely injured vet, so seeing them all get support too is fantastic. I have Meghan coat envy too!LRB
ReplyDeleteRavie de les voir toujours ensemble contrairement aux propos acerbes que j'ai eu l'occasion de lire !
ReplyDeleteLovely coat.
ReplyDeleteWhen do they show the Athletes? so far it is all about them. I do like the coat.
ReplyDeletejosebabe
All about them, this should be for the Veterans, where are they pictured?
ReplyDeleteLoL
