The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh arrived in Nepal on February 4 and concluded their visit on February 9. On February 9, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Gurung Community Centre and Museum in Ghandruk, a hill village near Pokhara with historic Gurkha ties. The Gurkhas are soldiers from Nepal who serve in the British Army, and Ghandruk is well known for producing exceptional Gurkha soldiers.

On February 8, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh hiked in the Annapurna range, less than 200 miles from the famous Mount Everest, toward Ghandruk. the Duke and Duchess spent time at the Annapurna Conservation Area, a region of Nepal with a historic connection to the Gurkhas. The Annapurna Conservation Area is Nepal's largest protected area, located within the Annapurna range of the Himalayas.

Having completed their six-day visit to Nepal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh departed for London on February 9.

    Finally a nice sweater and slacks that fit well, good colours. They both do casual clothes well.

    I like the mountain pictures 3 & 8 very much. They are dressed appropriately for the mountains. I have always liked to spend holidays in the mountains. Unfortunately now it is not possible anymore due to my age and health condition.

  4. Nothing of note really fashion wise but good to see them enjoying some down time after a busy trip. The Duchess's wardrobe has been disappointing but it can't take away from how genuinely interested and engaged this lovely couple are. They are such an asset to the British Royal family

    This has been the best outfit on this tour.
