On February 5, 2025, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the annual board meeting of the Cervantes Institute at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, where the main results of the 2023–2024 academic year were presented, along with the goals and projections for the new academic year. Before the board meeting, the King and Queen presented the "Ñ Award," which recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the international promotion of the Spanish language.
The King and Queen presented the "Ñ Award 2024" of the Cervantes Institute to South Korean Hispanist Park Chul (1949), Professor Emeritus of Hispanic Literature at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea. The Cervantes Institute is Spain's public institution dedicated to promoting the teaching, study, and use of the Spanish language worldwide.
Un exemple d élégance et de sobriété

I like the colour of this trouser suit and the style of the jacket. I’m rarely a fan of short trousers but these don’t seem to fit particularly well in any case. Nice to see bright colours again

She needs to cut her hair, it looks awful, Rem
ReplyDeleteI see beautiful rich glossy hair, beautifully kept. Letizia is consistently elegant but rarely with anything overdone.
DeleteThere is nothing wrong with her hair, it is thick, glossy and healthy.

Rem, awful is a harsh word. It's always good to approach these things with kindness. People have different tastes and preferences when it comes to their look. I would like to see your hair though…
DeleteYou should give this advice to Queen Maxima. She should take care of her hair.
DeleteThe combination of these two colours works well : burgundy and pink.
ReplyDeleteThe whole look is simple, modern and elegant.
I don't know if it's the style or my eyes, but the blazer looks bigger on her.
Nevertheless, she's an elegant woman.

I would never have thought to put burgundy and pink together but I agree, this combination works a treat!
DeleteStunningly beautiful.

Nice pantsuit but more suitable for Spring.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautifully coordinated colors - two of my favorites. And you can never go wrong with Hugo Boss, not a real expensive designer. Just tasteful. The jacket does look a little too boxy for the Queen.
ReplyDeleteThe rose-violet is an exceptionally beautiful color on Letizia. Her makeup is also perfectly in keeping with the tone. Lovely appearance.
ReplyDeleteVery nice look for Q Letizia.

She has better suits. Even if it’s a Hugo Boss, it’ll not my favourite
ReplyDeleteLily
What other suits would you suggest?
DeleteLetizia has at least 5 other pant suits from Hugo Boss. Here’s an example:

You can google for me.

It seems like you're really into the details of Letizia's wardrobe. Thanks for the link — I’ll be sure to check it out 😉
ReplyDelete@Dorothe, you are absolutely right about the colors and the softness. A burgundy trouser suit and a pink blouse could be a better combination, imo.
ReplyDeleteDanke : ) @ Zucchina. das wäre auch eine gute Idee mit den Farben ein wenig spielen. -Dorothe-
