Her hair looks very neat and tidy in that style. Pretty dress too.

At the time of writing this comment, there is only one photo of Maxima on this post (more could be added later), but on other social media, I've seen more photos and she looks really good in this Natan dress. The fit and style is perfect on her. I like her hair this way too.

Ooh thanks Anon 9:13 for that perspective. We here can be very judgey based on the few photos we see here which can be a poor representation of the human and her sparkle and movement! Kind regards!

Pas fan de la robe mais Maxima est très bien coiffée, ce qui est rare dans la vie de tous les jours.

I agree as well. Second Natan outfit I’ve liked this week (along with Queen Mathilde’s trouser suit) 😳

Have to wonder why she made the decision to call in her hairdresser on this occasion. The hair does look tidy and nice.

She may do her own hair, and not have an entourage

      @ Edwina
Queens nowadays have hairdressers to do the big work (gala's, state visits, .....) and they have personal assistants (the new name for a lady in waiting) who look after their clothes, are capable of doing a simple coiffure, are wearing the bag with everything a queen might need on her way to a visit, are capable of sewing quickly a hemline that came loose, or a button that is almost falling down,... I don't think that Queen Maxima needs a hairdresser to do a simple bun in her neck. Kings and queens these days are living much more simple than you think. There are of course still some exceptions who think times stood still and they continue like in the old days and need a lot of staff members to be able to function, because they never learned to do something themselves.
