On October 26, 2025, Princess Marie of Denmark attended an event at Denmark’s ambassador's residence in Washington. The official residence of Denmark's ambassador in Washington is a building from the 1960s, designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, with furniture designs by Finn Juhl, one of the most prominent designers of Denmark's mid-century Golden Age. Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894–984) was a leading Danish modern architect.

With opening remarks by Princess Marie and a welcome by Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen, architect Carl D'Silva explored the history of designer Finn Juhl’s iconic Chieftain Chair and a long-forgotten painting that preceded it. This fascinating story is detailed in his book Lost Danish Treasure, which delves into the legacy of the iconic Danish designer.

This Veronica Beard blazer does not look like the one P. Marie wore on another occasion.

So eine wunderschöne Frau, wie schon erwähnt, eine Frau mit Klasse und ihrer beneidenswerten, einzigartigen so dezenten Eleganz. Ihr offenes Haar ist toll geschnitten. -Dorothe-
