On February 7, 2025, King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted a dinner at King Charles III's Gloucestershire estate, Highgrove House, in Tetbury. The guest list included David and Victoria Beckham, who have a home nearby in the Cotswolds, Italian Ambassador H.E. Inigo Lambertini, Mrs. Maria Grazia Lambertini, Italian-American actor Stanley Tucci, and Dame Helen Mirren. The event celebrated the values of Slow Food and Slow Fashion.

The event comes after Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla will pay a state visit to Italy and the Vatican in early April. During the visit, King Charles and Queen Camilla will meet Pope Francis at the Vatican and take part in celebrations for the Catholic Church's Pilgrims of Hope jubilee year.

Dame Helen Mirren wears a lovely dress as does the Queen.
I am seldom an admirer of Victoria’s fashion.

My thoughts on VB fashion as well. Always slinky, revealing, of less is more, plain, slip vibes.

I think, Victoria is looking great, very elegant dress. Helen Mirren, however, doesn't look pretty, she looks old. especially with that strange headband.

  2. Que ce soit autant pour la robe de Camilla que pour celle d'Helen Mirren, je n'arrive pas à donner un avis positif !

The woman in green seems to be elegant by nature.

    I prefer her style.

Wow, how much surgery has DB had? He doesn’t even look recognizable. Rem

I have never seen VB look good in any sense of the word. I propose that she simply lacks taste. As for decorative headbands, I am a fan. But with age, hair is thinning in the front very visibly. Combing everything back does not leave much at the front, be it with or without headband. And this is why Helen Mirren looked phantastic with a short bob, styled to the side.

  7. I like the dress worn by Queen Camilla and also that worn by Dame Helen Mirren. Victoria Beckham's dress is okay but not especially to my taste.

Helen Mirren should play Camilla in a feature film. They look simitar.

Helen Mirren could play Camilla in a future film. They look similar.

I like Helen Mirren in her green dress. The headband and the earrings have to go. Thin longer earrings would have been better.

Yes without headband or a headband in a softer matching colour

Victoria Beckham's dress is not beautiful. It is a mixture of 2 styles of dresses and it is not working. The part on her belly is awful and the open sleeves are too short.

Beautiful warm elegant velvet dress of Camilla. However the dress of Mirren is stylish I think the colour is very harsh for her. She could have done better with a pastel colour. VB has a lovely white satin gathered crêpe dress in her collection. It looks a bit like this pencil dress but has not these strange open sleeves that makes this dress massy.

  13. Queen Camilla and Dame Mirren both look wonderful. Victoria Beckham has her usual "just ate a sour pickle" expression, and the front of her dress looks like my stomach did one day post-partum.

Paloma.

Love both gowns, the one from the Queen and from Dame Mirren. Great colors. I feel V. Beckham always has a bit of arrogance and self-important on her. Hope I am wrong.
