A very sweet dress for Mathilde. Not Natan? Seems to fit her extremely well, and the colour, length and detailing are all very flattering to her.

It screams Natan to me. It fits perfectly indeed. I wish we could have a better picture of Princess Astrid's outfit, it seems to be quite colourful and interesting also.

I've already seen Princess Astrid in this outfit in the past.
At pictures from the Royal Palace in Brussels today, I see Princess Astrid is wearing a sort of long thin coat, made of 2 different parts of printed fabrics and underneath she is wearing black pants and shoes.

Since yesterday we have a new government just in time to be at the reception for the authorities of the country. Love Queen Mathilde's new dress.

Lovely color and nice detailing on the dress. My only quibble is that the belt doesn't appear to be positioned on the waist, or either she is very short waisted . I notice this many times on her other dresses.

Yes Virginia, it appears the queen has a short waist. I think this style of dress however is so much better for her (following her figure to the knee) than her oft worn flared skirts which accentuate the unusual waist position. This dress is perfect for her and the little waist belt sits extremely well in the outfit from my point of view. I hope she can follow this dress style further.

The belt placement can definitely make a difference in how a dress sits. It might not hit exactly at the waist, which can sometimes throw off the proportions. But it’s possible she’s going for a different silhouette or just prefers that style. Overall, though, the color and detailing are stunning!

What a beautiful dress--and the color is perfect on Queen Mathilde. The dress is well fitted and it has very pretty details--the thin belt (perfect for Mathilde), the bow at the neckline, the neckline itself, and the 3/4 length sleeves. The silhouette is super flattering to Mathilde too.

Queen Mathilde’s dress is spot on, both in style and in colour. If Princess Astrid’s coat didn’t have the clashing panel at the bottom it would be much improved

Thanks for updating with further photos so we can see the Dries van Noten jacket. Appears to my eyes that she put on one long floral jacket then last minute decided to throw another shorter one over the top of it, with the materials clashing badly. That said the upper part looks really well on Astrid and the silk twill probably feels beautiful on.
