On January 25, 2025, Zara Tindall attended the opening of the Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham Racecourse, an event that also hosted the prestigious Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) Awards. As the patron of RoR, Zara Tindall announced the winners during the ceremony. RoR is the official charity of British Horseracing, dedicated to ensuring the welfare and retraining of racehorses after their retirement from racing.
All of the shortlisted former racehorses have undergone successful retraining since their retirement, and they are now either contributing to their local communities or competing in various equine disciplines, showcasing the remarkable versatility of Thoroughbreds. Zara, a passionate equestrian and Olympic medalist, was appointed as the patron of RoR in 2023.
I like the coat, with the fur trim giving it a bit of interest, the updo and the hairband. The sunglasses seem incongruous to me with a winter outfit but Zara still looks good
ReplyDeleteThe sunglasses seem incongruous with a winter outfit? Maybe it's a sunny day?😎 (Can I write that or am I “very out of touch”? 😇) Irene
DeleteI have always my sun glasses with me. (I am wearing normal glasses all the time). During winter the sun can be very uncomfortable in your eyes. When I do not put sun glasses on when the sun beams very low, I have immidiately tears in my eyes. My sun glasses have the same dioptry as my normal glasses. Car drivers they know that sun glasses cannot be missed during winter. They have always a pair ready in their car.
DeleteI don't know if this particular pair Zara is wearing have it but, sunglasses/eyeglasses with the correct protection (i.e. both UVB and UVA sun protection) should actually be worn by everybody - EVERY DAY. Just like sunscreen should be worn by everyone every day regardless of whether it's a clear sunny day or cloudy one (and regardless of your skin tone/color), so should eye protection. The damaging rays of the sun are always there - not just on sunny, bright days - and they cause damage to your eyes over time just like they cause damage to your skin. Not to be preachy. :) Just saying. I wish I had known this when I was a younger person.
DeleteThis looks like a good outfit for the occasion. The coat is a good fit with some interesting details (collar, cuffs, buttons). I like the simple, sleek boots too. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThe coat looks better on Zara than on the model. The headband is a big no for me. A fedora would have been beautiful with the coat.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Good point about the fedora.
DeleteAnother good look on Zara Tindall. I would wear that coat myself were I able to afford it. Should it be a very bright, sunny day, I am wearing sunglasses, too, in winter. Nothing wrong with that.
ReplyDeletePour cette occasion, je trouve que le manteau convient beaucoup mieux à la silhouette de Zara qu'au mannequin ; bon choix que le serre-tête original !
ReplyDeleteReally nice coat and boots. I also usually like headbands - except those asymmetrical ones that are unproportionally high in the middle. But this one is pretty, a headband like this can pimp up thin hair nicely.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous coat! Zara looks fabulous here.

Nice coat not a fan of the headband.

Fabulous outfit. She is always so stunning and stylish.
ReplyDeleteThe coat is lovely, looks warm. Love her bag and boots. Very elegant and chic.
Except for the head piece and the way she's wearing the bag as a cross body, I like the overall look of this outfit on Zara. It's smart and tailored. The fur detail adds some interest without being too fussy.
