On January 30, 2025, the Princess of Wales visited Tŷ Hafan, a children's hospice based in Sully, near Cardiff, Wales. The Princess of Wales was announced as Patron of Tŷ Hafan this morning. Since opening in 1999, Tŷ Hafan — which means 'Haven House' in Welsh — has helps children with life-shortening conditions and their families lead fulfilling lives, while also supports bereaved families beyond their children's passing.
Afterwards, the Princess of Wales visited Corgi Hosiery in Ammanford, a family-run textiles manufacturer focused on the production of socks and knitwear. Corgi holds the Royal Warrant and produces a wide range of products for the Royal Family, including the King. Upon her arrival, the Princess was greeted by the Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed, Sara Edwards.
She looks fine as always, but I am not sure about the colour of the coat. The contrast with the dress is a bit weird.
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on the light, outside in natural light it seems to be something like a winter white, not yellowish.
DeleteShe looks so joyful with the kids, but I guess her heart breaks for them as she is driven away. Hard not to be touched by the sadness of that institution.
ReplyDeleteEin sehr "erwachsener"Look, gefällt mir gut. Und - mal wieder - sieht das Kleid an der Prinzessin noch besser aus als das Model.

A lovely dress and the coat just sits the outfit off. It’s a winner for me.
ReplyDeleteElégante robe imprimée mais à mon humble avis, la couleur rouge aurait mieux convenu !
ReplyDeleteThe dress is great, the combination with the wool- white coat not so great: a bit of colour would be better, but nevertheless: great visit!!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've noticed this a couple/few times with her; you would think when you're going to see kids one would wear bright happy colors - or at least something bright. But she tends to do the opposite. Maybe she doesn't want to cause sensory overload for the kids - especially if they are special needs, etc.? I don't know. But this dress is actually a favorite of mine on it's own. I've got a thing for black and white / grey houndstooth print. I think she should have paired it with one of her bright red coats. That would have been fab and just right pop of color.
DeleteAgree entirely.

Princess Catherine should think more about the children in Gaza, and try to help them!
ReplyDeleteThis is the style dress I like to see her wear. The skirt has a looser fit so her thinness is not exaggerated. Not fussy on the bow neckline, but over all a nice silhouette.
ReplyDeleteHow marvellous, beautiful visit by the Princess. She looks well, great to see. The children and staff must have been thrilled to have her visit. Her jacket is beautiful,
