Happy birthday to the Princess, but what an awkward new photo! What's with the hands in the pockets like that? Strange. Also, fashion-wise, the scarf doesn't seem to go well with that ensemble. It would have been far better without it. The Christmas candid photo is much better overall. Lovely smile, not contrived, lovely green outfit.

The photo is more casual, so the hands-in-pockets pose and the scarf were meant to keep it relaxed and laid-back. It’s just a different vibe compared to more polished shots.

  5. I still remember her "Kate Middleton-days", then the wedding, the children... It was always a pleasure to see her grow into her role. And then those very bad news about her health. May this sensitive, intelligent, caring and beautiful mother, wife and princess have a funny birthday and a very happy new year!

Lovely photos, I prefer the one in the green coat. The black and white is okay, but her hands look awkward. It reminds me of the ones a few years ago in the red dress. The scarf kinda looks like a bread basket cloth on first glance, perhaps it was intended as a pop of colour.
Looking good after all she went through.

Has anyone overly scrutinized the photo for extra, or missing, fingers and the like? I'm sure it's coming.
