Dress is £890 at Harrods and not a particularly elegant design. Will she rewear I wonder? I find Victoria’s H&M approach or Letizia’s Mango approach to be more honorable when the royals are travelling around and meeting up with others to foster more justice and equality in the world. Hard to see Rania’s dress in the photos, but very much hope she didn’t wear it with the light blue sandals as per the marketing pic!

If you think that queen Rania would think of rewearing this boring dress,
you must be dreaming. As far as I can see, she does not rewear anything, and I presume that she wears these garments on loan, which the British royal family is not allowed to do.

I think I saw her already once in this dress. I am not sure on which occasion. The dress makes me think of another dress in bottle green worn by the Princess of Wales. It had the same sleeves as on this dress.

I am afraid I do not quite understand what you wrote. I thought theJordan court has enough money to pay for the clothes of the Queen and the Princesses. I reminder the luxury that has been spread for the wedding parties and diners of the crown prince.
I think the Belgian, GD Luxembourg, the Dutch (The Netherlands) and Norwegian crowns are not financed by the USA either.

  3. It's not fashion comment but the table cloth is in need of some ironing. It looks like the hostess was caught in a "let's take the best linen out of my the closet" moment.

Not a priority in my view.

Good observation Luba! That’s pretty funny actually. Two extravagantly rich and well dressed women - and a “whoops who forgot to get the cloth out of the linen cupboard earlier” moment!

The tablecloth is not wrinkled. It was folded. Sure, it would have looked better without the folds, but I don't think it is the end of the world.

    5. I fully AGREE with anon18:56, yes just the traces of having been folded.

I agree with anon. 18:56 and MaryT too. The folds prove that the table cloth has been ironed earlier. There are more important issues these days than a table cloth with folds.

A beautiful photo of two lovely ladies, in such a beautiful setting. Queen Rania and Mrs. Trump have met before, are similar in age, and seem to enjoy each other’s company. Can’t see much of what either is wearing, but I like Rania’s dress very much in the photos with the model. — Jane

Good idea to make the photo (at least seemingly) in action, instead standing and posing extra for the cameras. Really nice photo!

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of the First Lady when she meets with royals. She will bring back fashion back at the WH.

Both ladies look lovely, perfectly styled and engaged in their conversation. Like the white accessories with Queen Rania's navy dress. Has just the right edge to elevate the fashion. Both ladies carry themselves with such poise, elegance and confidence. Worthy representatives of their countries.
