Queen Camilla Attends the Annual Lunch of the Anne Frank Trust

On January 23, 2025, Britain's Queen Camilla attended the Anne Frank Trust's annual lunch at the Hilton Park Lane in London. The event took place ahead of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, which is commemorated annually on January 27 as Holocaust Memorial Day. This year, Holocaust Memorial Day also marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust and the death of Anne Frank.

Last year, Queen Camilla became the first royal patron of the Anne Frank Trust, an organization that uses Anne’s story and the lessons of the Holocaust to empower children aged nine to 15 to recognize and challenge prejudice. During her visit, the Queen watched a presentation by children who have participated in the charity’s programs. She later joined a candle-lighting ceremony alongside survivors of genocides and hate crimes, followed by a moment of silence to honor the victims.

What about Palestine, Queen Camilla and Princess Catherine, care about us too!

This is about your "Palestina": Hamas launched a massive attack on October 7, with thousands of terrorists infiltrating from the Gaza border and taking some 240 hostages into Gaza. Over 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals were murdered, 49 hostages in total have been killed in captivity.

Camilla always looks lovely in blue and this is a lovely dress, in her favoured, oft-repeated style. I like the patterns on the sleeves and bodice.

Signature look, the embroidery is interesting. I also looks like a heavy wool dress to keep her warm.

What a very very great tribute to Anne Frank, in times like these, when many nations around the world have forgotten history...?!??
As a twelve year old child (born in 1962) I read the “Diary of Anne Frank” and...to this day I have this diary in my library and have read it several times!!!!

  7. So glad to see Queen Camilla supporting the work of this trust. As a teacher, I was involved with the Holocaust Memorial Trust and have heard some of the survivors speak about their experiences. A truly humbling experience. Queen Camilla's dress is in her favoured colour and style but the pattern makes it a bit different and she looks good.

  8. Ce style de robe que Camilla préfère lui va bien mais au niveau de la broderie, je ne suis pas tellement pour celle des manches !

Some of her zip front dresses look like dressing gowns to me, but the beautiful embroidery on this one really sets it apart. I think she looks wonderful here. (V.M.)

  13. The embroidery of the dress, is really good, adding interest and distracting from the zipper in the front.

Queen Camilla's dress has beautiful embroidery and the color is so wonderful on her--she looks lovely. I am so happy that she has given her support to such an important organization. Anne's experience and words resonate in our world today.
