  3. Pity Madame Ducruet didn't get to wear that festival shawl as well.

Maybe she does not belong to the organizing committee.

I really like this family dynamic. It seems to be a very close-knit family.
As for Princess Stephanie's looks, I think there's room for improvement.

First of all, I'd recommend a change of glasses frames, to choose something more modern and stylish.

Secondly, I would recommend a new, more modern and feminine haircut.

Finally, I'd recommend choosing better clothes that are more colourful, feminine and elegant. And don't forget to wear jewellery to give your outfits extra sparkle.

Of course, that's just my opinion. The main thing is - as I always like to say - that she should be happy and comfortable in her own skin.

But I want to see her look elegant and feminine again.

    -Astrid.

Ah well Astrid, anyone with the cash and access to resources that she has probably has the glasses, hair and styling that they want! - and more power to Stephanie for finding her own style and being who she wants. As long as she is happy or can find happiness, I don’t think any change recommendations from us here are needed! I love her coat - classic and probably warm enough for Monaco in January.

    2. As far as I am able to recall, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco never was of the overly elegant, glamorous sort. She had a time when she went with glam fashion because that was totally en vogue back then, but other than that she always kept it more on the simple side, in particular after her relationships broke down and she then lived with circus artists for a while. She's very unique, but I mean that in a good way. She seems to be a loving mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.

DSC, Stephanie was actually considered very glamorous as a young adult. She modeled, dated Hollywood stars, the whole nine yards. I followed her in the gossip magazines 40 odd years ago.

      @ Astrid
I only wish to say that Princess Stephanie's glasses are very up-to-date. In Europe the last fashion for glasses are those like Princess Stephanie's. Besides she is wearing this type of glasses just recently.
Her hair is also among the last fashion styles for women who like to have short hair. There is nothing wrong with her coat either. A lot of female royals wear this type of coat. Maybe you don't like her choices, but you cannot say that she is not dressed according the last fashion styles for women. I bought just myself a new pair of glasses, I tried on the type of glasses like Stephanie has and it didn't suit me, but of course I am much older than Stephanie and I can imagine that a younger lady feels good with this new style.

  6. Alors là, je suis navrée car Stéphanie donne l'impression de porter un peignoir ; il faudrait qu'elle se rapproche un peu plus de sa fille Pauline pour être conseillée ?!

I actually love the way Stepganie looks and it is what I would describe pretty cool. I love the way her hair looks and I find the glasses makes her look interesting she is actually quite a character and she had become strong in her own right.

  8. Everyone looks elegant and understated - putting the attention on the event and not themselves. I love the design of the scarves this year.

I agree fully with Astrid’s comments above. There is nothing whatever wrong with wishing that a royal lady would strive to look her best and make the most of her considerable natural beauty. I have said exactly that, on numerous occasions, about my adored Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. Some of us have been on earth long enough to remember when Princess Stephanie shone as one of Monaco’s most attractive, and attractively dressed, royals. If Mary, Maxima or Mathilde showed up looking as though they were trying to be unattractive, I suspect that the scolds who lectured Astrid would have something to say about it. Contributors to this forum critique royal ladies’ hairstyles, clothing, accessories, and demeanor on a daily basis. We appreciate and wish those ladies well, regardless.
